Kris Jenner Emotionally Shares Tragic Medical News: ‘They Found Something’

Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner has revealed doctors are growing concerned about her health after “something” was discovered during scans performed at a routine checkup, she told her family last week.

Jenner, the mother of pop culture celebrity Kim Kardashian and her siblings Kourtney, Khloé, and Rob, broke the news to her three daughters and boyfriend Corey Gamble in a teaser trailer for the upcoming episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

“I wanted to tell you guys something… I had my scan,” she said as tears welled up in her eyes, People reported. “And this just makes me really emotional but they found something.” The news was almost too much for her children to bear. “They found a cyst and a little tumor,” she revealed.

Jenner, 68, has been a fixture in pop culture since her late husband Robert Kardashian defended O.J. Simpson in his 1994 murder trial. Her family was largely raised in the spotlight; “The Kardashians,” now in its 20th season, has consistently provoked fascination from viewers curious to see the everyday habits of the ultra-rich family. Jenner’s news comes two years after Khloé faced a brief cancer scare, People added, when the 39-year-old and youngest daughter opened up about having a melanoma spot removed.

In a 2022 Instagram post, Khloé showed followers the spot on her cheek where her operation was performed. “Not that we needed the arrow to show the huge indentation on the side of my face but because we had to remove a tumor from my cheek, I was Ieft with an indention,” she wrote at the time. “I am definitely not complaining because I would rather have an indention than melanoma any day. I am so incredibly grateful to all the doctors who helped and continue to help me with my skin cancer journey.”

Jenner was there for her youngest, calling the diagnosis “concerning” but working through it as a family. Khloé and her kin now have the opportunity to return the love, staying close to their mother as she potentially receives surgery and recuperates in her $20 million Hidden Hills, California mansion.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is now available on Hulu, with new episodes coming at 12 a.m. ET on Thursdays.
