Minors

Right Patriots is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a minor sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change.

Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

Right Patriots may earn commissions from affiliate links and sponsored content placements. This disclosure complies with the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

Affiliate Links

Some articles, posts, and other content on this site may feature products or services from which we receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase. We participate in various affiliate programs. The list of programs and partners may change at any time and without notice. Advertising space may also be sold on the site separately. We do not receive affiliate commissions on those placements.

Editorial Independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial coverage. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage, and the opinions expressed on this site are our own. Inclusion of an affiliate link or ad does not constitute an endorsement of the third party.

Sponsored Content

When we publish content paid for by a third party, it will be clearly labeled “Sponsored” or similar so readers can distinguish it from standard editorial coverage.

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel on rightpatriots.com to measure ad performance and build audiences for our Facebook and Instagram campaigns. The Pixel records page views, clicks, and standard browser/device information. You can opt out of personalized ads via your Facebook ad preferences or at aboutads.info/choices.

Facebook and Meta Platforms

Right Patriots maintains an official Facebook Page where we publish news, polls, and editorial content. Our backend automation tool, Right Patriots Publisher, posts editorial content to our own Facebook Page using a Page Access Token issued by Meta. This automation does not collect, store, or share personal information about Facebook users. We do not access user profiles, messages, or any private data. When users engage with our Facebook posts (likes, comments, shares), that activity is governed by Facebook’s own policies and is visible to us only through standard Page Insights — we do not export or store it.

Polls and On-Site Voting

When you vote in a Patriot Poll on our site, we record your selected option, a hashed (anonymous) version of your IP address, and a hash of your browser identifier to prevent duplicate voting. If you choose to enter your email and name to view the results breakdown, that email is added to our newsletter list with your consent. You can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time (see Data Deletion Requests below).

Data Retention

  • Newsletter subscribers: kept while your subscription is active. Unsubscribed users are retained for 6 months in a suppression list (to honor your opt-out), then deleted.
  • Poll votes: retained indefinitely as anonymized aggregate counts; individual vote records are deleted after 12 months.
  • Server logs (IP addresses, page views): rotated every 30 to 90 days.
  • Comments: retained as long as the article is published.

Data Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, encrypted database storage, and limit access to personal data to authorized staff only. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

Data Deletion Requests

Right Patriots respects your right to control your personal data.

What data we hold: We collect email addresses (and optional first names) only when you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter, vote in an on-site poll, or submit a form. We do not collect or store data about Facebook users beyond the public Page interactions they have with our own posts.

To request deletion of your data:

  1. Email support@rightpatriots.com with subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address you used to subscribe.
  2. We will delete your record from our subscriber list and any associated databases within 30 days.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

You can also unsubscribe from any newsletter email by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any message — this removes you from active sending.
