Former MSNBC host Joy Reid is reportedly seething after being fired from the network. Rumors are swirling that she is planning some kind of retaliation, and who could be surprised? With Reid’s reputation for being fierce, it’s not entirely unexpected.
One can’t help but wonder whether she plans to air MSNBC’s dirty laundry or disclose secrets about those still employed there. According to Radar Online, Joy Reid is allegedly gearing up to “scream bloody murder” after being let go from her show, The ReidOut, in what she perceives as a betrayal by the network she loyally served for over a decade.
Sources claim Reid is angered by the decision, and she’s ready to take drastic action. An MSNBC insider revealed, “She’s livid, and she knows everything. She’s ready to burn the house down.”
Reports suggest Reid’s departure was catalyzed by her convening a meeting with other prominent MSNBC anchors, including Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell, to challenge the network’s shift away from its left-wing bias.
It’s uncertain how this will pan out for Joy Reid, but the advice here is clear:
REMINDER: Do not trash your former employer. Maybe they deserve it. Maybe they don’t.
For YOUR sake, do not trash your former employer.
Cause you know who’s watching? Your next potential employer. And they just decided you’re not worth the headache.

The aftermath of Reid’s actions will undoubtedly be something to watch. Meanwhile, MSNBC faces its own challenges, with ratings having declined since the last election and showing no signs of improvement.
