The situation in Syria has reached a horrifying climax as the radical HTS regime forces are allegedly setting the lush forests of Latakia province ablaze to drive out the Alawite community. This ruthless action comes amid a week-long genocide that has already claimed thousands of innocent lives. In a strategic move to conceal the unfolding atrocities, Islamist militants have been ordered to surrender their mobile phones, preventing the gruesome details from reaching the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed Syrian “President” Ahmad al-Sharaa, known in terrorist circles as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, paradoxically announced plans to investigate his own forces responsible for the massacres. However, the brutality continues unabated.

Adding salt to the wound, al-Jolani’s Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani is expected to attend a donor conference in Brussels. The European Union has already promised a staggering €235 million to this oppressive regime, with substantial contributions from Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

This week, al-Jolani declared himself the “temporary” President for the next five years and approved a new Islamist constitution. This “temporary” change mandates Sharia law as the foundation of governance, a move reported by Arutz Sheva.

Al-Jolani’s extremist roots trace back to his time with Al-Qaida in Iraq in 2003, where he was infamous for inciting sectarian violence. His radicalism even surpassed that of Al-Qaida’s own Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Post-2011, al-Jolani partnered with ISIS, eventually leading the al-Qaida offshoot in Syria, al-Nusra front.

Reports from Syrian YouTuber Treka reveal a chilling account of 1500 Alawite and Christian Syrians being mercilessly slaughtered by the HTS regime, with entire villages set aflame.

According to Greek European Parliament member Nikolas Farantouris, the death toll is far higher, with an estimated 7,000 lives lost, as reported by the Greek City Times.

Desperate to escape the relentless onslaught, many Alawites sought refuge in the forests of Latakia. However, HTS militias are reportedly setting these forests on fire to force them out, as evidenced by alarming footage shared by the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights.

These fires not only threaten human lives but also pose a significant environmental hazard, engulfing vast areas and destroying both public and private properties.

Renowned for her relentless coverage, Pamela Geller has been receiving updates directly from the scene.

“Since 5 pm today until now, 12 am Damascus time, March 13th, fires have consumed the forests in Latakia and Tartous. After killing the Alawites, the Islamic jihadists set fire to the forests to burn their homes. People contacted the ruling authority, and their response was that the Alawites must be burned and exterminated.”

As these atrocities unfold, the world stands witness to what can only be described as a campaign of ethnic cleansing. The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights and other sources document these heinous acts, urging global intervention before it’s too late. This is a cry not only for those in Syria but a warning for the broader international community to act before such terror spreads beyond borders.
