In a gripping interview clip from an upcoming documentary titled ‘Christianities?’, Tucker Carlson recounted a chilling experience, claiming he was physically attacked in his sleep by a demon. Carlson, the well-known conservative commentator and former Fox News host revealed what he describes as a “spiritual attack,” which he says left him with claw marks and unexplained physical pain, triggering a personal journey into spirituality and faith.

Describing the incident, Carlson said, “I woke up and I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was going to suffocate.” He explained that he was in bed with his wife and four dogs, none of whom woke up despite being light sleepers.

According to Carlson, after walking around to clear his head, he noticed sharp pains along his ribcage and shoulders. Upon turning on the bathroom light, he discovered “four claw marks on either side underneath my arms and on my left shoulder, and they were bleeding.” Carlson said that the marks couldn’t have been self-inflicted, adding, “I don’t have long nails, and they didn’t fit my hands anyway.”

For Carlson, this surreal experience was uncharted territory. “I’m not from a faith tradition that talks about things like that or even acknowledges their existence,” he admitted. Not knowing where to turn, he called an evangelical Christian friend who told him, “Oh yeah, no, no, that happens. People are attacked in their bed by demons.” Carlson’s reaction was one of disbelief and confusion but admitted that “immediately” he knew it was a “spiritual” event.

The encounter, which Carlson claims occurred over a year ago, has since reshaped his outlook and inspired him to delve into the Bible for answers. “I was seized with this very intense desire to read the Bible,” he recounted.

Without any outside guidance or commentary, Carlson bought a Bible and began reading it himself, saying he has “very low levels of trust for Christian pastors” and wanted to understand the text on his own terms. This experience has led him to reread the Bible several times, calling it a “transformative” journey.

In the clip, Carlson said that he doesn’t expect others to believe his story but feels compelled to share what he experienced. “No one has to believe me; I don’t care,” he said. However, Carlson seemed firm in his belief that he encountered something “very real,” even if he still struggles to comprehend its nature.

Carlson’s tale has stirred widespread reactions online, with viewers expressing a range of responses from curiosity to skepticism. The experience has left a lasting impression on Carlson, who has spent over a year exploring themes of good and evil, questioning the existence of unseen forces, and seeking answers in scripture.
