Trump Launches America.gov — One AI Portal Replaces 10,000 Government Sites

President Trump unveiled America.gov Monday — a single AI-powered portal designed to replace the maze of tens of thousands of federal websites Americans have struggled with for decades.

The new platform consolidates access to every federal service into one front door, from Medicare enrollment to veterans’ benefits to national park reservations.

“Instead of forcing citizens to search through the endless maze of tens of thousands of terrible government websites and rules and more than ten thousand forms — you have over ten thousand forms to do basic acts — you’ll now have one front door for every single question.”

The stakes are enormous. Americans spend 10 billion hours per year on federal paperwork — time the president said he’s giving back to the people.

Trump slammed the current system as so cumbersome that citizens are forced into mistakes — sometimes with legal consequences.

“Some of its so bad, so cumbersome, so unavailable that you’re forced to make mistakes and sometimes you get in trouble because you make those mistakes,” he said.

The platform is built to serve everyone — from scout leaders booking campsites to seniors choosing Medicare plans to veterans claiming earned benefits.

“Whether you’re a scout leader who wants to reserve a campsite at a national park, a senior citizen trying to choose a Medicare plan, or an American veteran trying to get the benefits that you’ve earned and so justly deserve, America.gov will be there to help,” Trump said.

Privacy protections are baked in from the ground up. The AI model searches government sites in a secure, sandboxed version of the internet — and conversations disappear when users leave.

“It’s built from the ground up with your privacy and security totally in mind,” Trump said. “They’ve used a brand-new technology … to ensure that your personal information is not collected or stored and your conversation disappears when you leave and everything stays totally private.”

Addressing AI fears head-on, the president said America will soon rename the technology Super Intelligence — and Americans will harness it, not surrender to it.

“We do not surrender to fears about what technologies will do to use. We decide that those technologies will do for us some very, very incredible things.”

“We never retreat from a frontier; we never shrink from a challenge; we push forward and build a world that is bigger, better, faster and smarter than it has ever been before,” he continued.

After his remarks, Trump signed an executive order directing every federal agency to integrate its public services with America.gov as soon as possible.

The White House described America.gov as a “government information assistant” designed to save Americans from navigating the federal bureaucracy maze — one AI search at a time.
