President Donald Trump honored four fallen American soldiers Wednesday at Dover Air Force Base, standing alongside grieving families as their remains returned home from the Middle East.
The dignified transfer ceremony honored 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25; Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, 28; Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30; and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19 — all killed in separate incidents tied to Iran’s escalating aggression.
Two soldiers died Friday when Iran launched a ballistic missile and drone attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Feehan and Gonzales were killed in action during the assault.
Rampersad, initially reported missing after the attack, is believed to have been killed during the same Iranian strike, according to the Department of War.
Swinton died Sunday at Erbil Air Base in Iraq during the controlled detonation of a downed one-way attack drone. All incidents remain under investigation.

Trump met privately with the families before the transfer ceremony. Standing beside Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, the president saluted each flag-draped transfer case as it moved from the C-17 aircraft to a waiting vehicle on the tarmac.
Feehan hails from Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Gonzales from Carrollton, Texas. Swinton from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Rampersad from Ozone Park, New York.
After the ceremony, Trump departed for Georgia — with Feehan’s family aboard Air Force One.
“The family of LT Tyler Feehan will be flying to Georgia with us. They are from Georgia, and the president offered to give them a ride home,” a White House official said.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine, acting Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army Gen. Christopher LaNeve, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, and executive assistant to the president Natalie Harp attended the transfer.
On Monday, Trump issued a stark warning to Tehran.
“Every time Iran kills an American Soldier they will pay for that killing many times over!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This directive has been passed on to Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Daniel Caine, and every Leader in the Military.”
Iran now knows the cost.
