Critics and fans alike took issue with Swift’s “tacky” fashion choices as she attempted to strut her show-stopping stuff while cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce as his Kansas City Chiefs were manhandled by the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.
Clad in an ill-fitting white tuxedo jacket and matching thigh-high leather boots, Swift and her celebrity friends made their way to their private seats at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Swift removed the $3,800 jacket, revealing a white Alaia body suit and racy sequin studded denim shorts, both of which crudely contrasted with a glitzy, ruby-red cross hanging from her neck.
Before play even began, Swift drew a visceral reaction from the pro-Eagles crowd, who joined in unison to boo her as she appeared on the jumbotron. The NFL’s most-watched fan side-eyed her friends cautiously before appearing to laugh off the boorish behavior of her haters.
Rapper Ice Spice and Este, Danielle and Alana Haim were there to cheer her up for the remainder of the night.
