NEW: Secret Service ‘Destroyed’ Video Of Biden Dog’s Bloody Attack On Agent

White House Secret Service agents allegedly destroyed video evidence showing President Joe Biden’s German Shepherd biting one officer to the point that he began to bleed. The revelation adds another layer to the embarrassing number of violent incidents that have occurred with the dog, which was recently sent to live outside of the White House.

The Daily Mail reported that a video of the incident was destroyed which contained footage of a bloody aftermath that was so bad that White House tours were briefly suspended so staff could clean up the mess. The outlet filed a Freedom of Information Act with the White House shortly after the attack on June 15th, 2023 which led to the agent’s hospitalization and the banishment of the dog, Commander, from the building.

Commander was seen sprinting toward a Secret Service agent at a high rate of speed before jumping on him near the East Wing’s Kennedy Garden, leaving a “deep bite” that “reportedly needed stitches,” according to an internal email obtained by the outlet which mentioned the existence of video evidence. It continued, “East Wing Tours were stopped for approximately 20 minutes due to blood from the incident being on the floors in the area of the Booksellers,” referencing a room just outside the East Wing.

Kevin Tyrrell, a spokesman for the Secret Service, sent a letter to the Daily Mail on Friday which states, “Due to Secret Service retention standards, the above mentioned file(s) has been destroyed.” In a follow-up statement, another spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, explained the agency’s reason for the video’s destruction. There is a “federal records retention schedule that defines when certain types of records can be archived, destroyed, etc.,” Guglielmi wrote. “Based on that response, I am assuming the record in question is no longer available because of the expiration of record retention.”

More than 25 incidents involving Commander have been documented, according to the outlet. The German Shepherd is the second rescue breed taken in by the Bidens following the departure of their former dog, Major, who also became violent around staff in the close confinements of the White House. The June 15th, 2023 incident was reported to Deputy Assistant Director Darryl Volpicelli while previous emails detail how Commander was let off-leash to roam the grounds of the White House leading up to the attack.

“Just for situational awareness. It seems that we’re back to the K9 being let off leash to roam the grounds freely,” one Secret Service official warned others in an email on May 23, 2023. “Tonight we had the team on the roadway for the evening sweep when [redacted] brought the dog out. K9 ran directly south and bounced between us techs.”

“Though no one was bitten it’s just a matter of time before it happens,” replied another Secret Service agent, whose name was redacted.
