The DC Circuit Court of Appeals took decisive action late Wednesday evening by partially blocking Judge Chutkan’s order concerning billions of dollars entangled in Joe Biden’s EPA’s climate slush fund. This bold move came as a crucial intervention to support EPA Chief Lee Zeldin’s efforts.

The three-judge panel, comprising Pillard (Obama), Katsas (Trump), and Rao (Trump), decisively stayed Judge Chutkan’s order, which had mandated Citibank to release the funds by Thursday. Judge Chutkan, appointed by Obama, had previously issued an injunction against the EPA and prohibited Zeldin from reclaiming the funds currently held by Citibank for eight ‘green’ nonprofits.

Lee Zeldin had earlier successfully retrieved the $20 billion in grants under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), with Citibank consenting to freeze these funds earmarked for the specified nonprofits. Among the recipients were organizations like the Coalition for Green Capital, Climate United Fund, and Justice Climate Fund, as reported by AP.

However, the DC Circuit Court’s intervention means that these funds will remain frozen, at least for now, as the legal processes unfold further.

Zeldin had informed the eight recipients about the termination of their grants from Biden’s slush fund. Intriguingly, among these was a $2 billion grant to a firm linked with failed Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, highlighting the contentious nature of these allocations.

“My commitment to President Trump, Congress, and you is that the EPA will be a vigilant steward of your tax dollars. I’ll have it no other way!” stated Lee Zeldin with firm resolve.

The grants were abruptly terminated following an exposé by Project Veritas. Through undercover footage, EPA Advisor Brent Efron admitted that the agency hurried to allocate these billions just before President Trump’s inauguration, dubbing it an “insurance policy” against Trump’s victory.

“It was an insurance policy against Trump winning,” Brent Efron revealed to a Project Veritas journalist. “Get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … it’s like we’re on the Titanic and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge.”
