Hillary Clinton’s luxurious taxpayer-funded stay in France raises eyebrows.

Why did American taxpayers foot the bill for Hillary Clinton’s extravagant accommodations in France in 2024? This is the question on every patriot’s mind.

On February 23, 2024, Hillary Clinton made her way to Bordeaux, France. The purpose? To promote climate change initiatives at the World Impact Summit, a cause backed by her Clinton Foundation. But this wasn’t just any trip. Clinton lodged at the luxurious Mondrian Hotel, known for its five-star experience and a favorite haunt for the former Secretary of State.

The expenses for this lavish retreat, including $16,759.18 for the hotel and $22,570.19 for transportation, amounted to a staggering $39,329.37, all borne by hard-working American taxpayers. Additionally, French media reported that Clinton made a few personal visits around the city during her stay.

Accompanied by U.S. Secret Service, Clinton’s security details, combined with luxury lodgings and transport, meant the total cost to the taxpayer remains a mystery, though likely much higher.

According to reports from Too Bordeaux, “Hillary Clinton stayed at the five-star Mondrian Hotel in Bordeaux with the utmost discretion. Prior to her arrival, U.S. security services conducted several reconnaissance missions of the premises in close collaboration with their French counterparts. This coordination required considerable logistics, demonstrating the scale of the security efforts deployed to ensure the former U.S. presidential candidate’s safety.”

This trip wasn’t just about luxury, though—Clinton’s team ensured a tight control over her public image. Media access was strictly regulated, allowing only her personal photographer to take pictures, except during portions of her speech at a masterclass. According to Too Bordeaux, “This practice is reminiscent of that of international music stars during their concerts, where media access is strictly regulated.”

This isn’t the first time Hillary Clinton has indulged in taxpayer-funded trips since she left office. The pattern continues, raising questions about the judicious use of taxpayer money.
