Right Patriots is a conservative news publication. We have a point of view. We also have a duty to get the facts right. This page explains how we report, how we correct errors, and how readers can flag mistakes.
How we report
- We attribute every fact to a source — named officials, court records, primary documents, or other credible reporting
- When we link to a source, we expect you to be able to verify the claim there
- We distinguish between confirmed facts, allegations, and opinion. Allegations stay allegations until proven in court
- We label sponsored or paid content clearly so it’s never confused with editorial coverage
Corrections
We correct errors. If you spot one — a misquote, a wrong date, a misidentified person, a broken fact — tell us at support@rightpatriots.com.
When we correct an article, we update the body of the piece and add a brief note at the bottom explaining what changed and when. We do not silently rewrite history.
Updates
Some stories evolve. When new facts emerge, we update the article and timestamp the update. The original framing stays visible — we don’t pretend the earlier version didn’t exist.
Removals
We rarely remove articles. If we do, it’s typically because of a legal demand, a confirmed factual error of the entire premise, or a privacy concern involving a private individual. We will note the removal and the reason whenever possible.
Anonymous sources
We use anonymous sources sparingly and only when the information is consequential, the source has a credible reason to remain unnamed, and the claim can be corroborated by other reporting or documents.
Conflicts of interest
Our editorial team does not accept payment from political campaigns, PACs, or advocacy groups in exchange for coverage. When we cover a company or organization we have a commercial relationship with, we disclose it in the article.
