Michelle Obama’s latest podcast endeavor, featuring her brother Craig Robinson, has turned out to be a major disappointment. Released under the Obamas’ media company, Higher Ground, the podcast titled “IMO” has not been climbing the streaming charts as expected. The episode “Pursue What You Love Before You Pursue Love” shockingly managed only 11,000 views in 11 hours.

In one episode, Michelle Obama mentions her frustration with Barack Obama’s tendency to delay their departure to events by needing to use the bathroom. It’s perhaps no surprise this podcast isn’t gaining traction.

Michelle Obama’s new podcast with her brother Craig Robinson has failed to meet expectations after it launched with great fanfare in early March.

The show, “IMO [In My Opinion] with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson,” features the siblings offering advice, discussing current issues, and hosting various guests. Despite this, it ranks only as the 34th most listened-to show on Spotify, per its charts.

Coinciding with these lackluster ratings are ongoing rumors of divorce surrounding the Obamas. These were fueled further when Barack Obama attended President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Donald Trump’s inauguration alone.

While the podcast struggles, other shows like “The Ezra Klein Show” and “The Determined Society” with Shawn French are seeing success. On Apple Podcasts, “IMO” is ranked 19th, trailing behind popular shows like “The Mel Robbins Podcast,” “Good Hang with Amy Poehler,” “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,” and “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

Michelle’s podcast largely appears to focus on White House life complaints and subtle digs at Barack Obama.
