On Wednesday morning, Politico stirred the pot by reporting that President Trump allegedly informed his inner circle, including cabinet members, that Elon Musk might soon step back from his esteemed role at the Department of Government Efficiency, also known as DOGE.

This sparked quite the buzz as it was noted, “The president remains pleased with Musk and his DOGE initiative, according to three Trump insiders, but both men have decided in recent days that it will soon be time for Musk to return to his businesses and take on a supporting role.”

However, the truth stands firm. The DOGEDesigner X account swiftly countered this narrative, dismissing the report as a mere attempt to fabricate a division between Musk and Trump.

Later in the day, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a decisive rebuttal to the left-leaning media and its allies.

Finally, Elon Musk himself dispelled any lingering doubts by simply labeling it as “fake news.”
