Democrats Face Historic Favorability Plunge: Americans Reject the Radical Left Agenda

The Democrat Party is facing an unprecedented crisis as their favorability hits historic lows according to a recent CNN poll conducted by SSRS from March 6-9. Even CNN, a far-left outlet, couldn’t mask the truth: Americans are turning their backs on the Democrats’ radical agenda, incompetence, and constant political wrangling.

This poll reveals that only 29% of Americans now view the Democrat Party favorably, marking the lowest point in CNN’s polling history since 1992. This marks a staggering 20-point drop since Joe Biden entered the Oval Office in 2021, back when liberals were still holding onto the hope that his presidency would succeed.

However, with cities deteriorating, inflation soaring, and crime rising, the support for Democrats has plummeted. The CNN poll indicates that only 63% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents currently have a positive view of their party—a dramatic fall from 81% in 2021. Meanwhile, the Republican base remains solid, with 79% of GOP voters expressing favorable views of their party.

Among independents, who are key in elections, the numbers are grim for Democrats. Only 19% of independents have a favorable opinion of the Democrat Party, slightly less than the 20% who favor Republicans.

One significant takeaway from the CNN poll highlights the absence of strong leadership within the Democratic Party. When asked who best represents their party’s core values, the responses varied:

  • 10% named radical leftist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)
  • 9% said Kamala Harris
  • 8% chose socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
  • 6% pointed to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries

More than 30% of respondents couldn’t identify anyone at all.

According to an earlier report, an internal poll by the Democratic group Navigator Research, which was shared with Politico, reveals that most Americans still feel the Democratic Party doesn’t prioritize their interests. Instead, they see the party focusing on illegal aliens or certain racial minorities. The report states:

Nearly two months into the second Donald Trump administration, a majority of voters in battleground House districts still believe Democrats in Congress are “more focused on helping other people than people like me,” according to an internal poll conducted by the Democratic group Navigator Research.

Among independents, only 27% believe Democrats focus on helping them, while 55% feel they focus on others. Alarmingly for Democrats, only 44% of those surveyed think Democrats respect work, and just 39% believe the party values work. Only 42% think Democrats share their values.

A majority—56%—feel Democrats aren’t looking out for working people, with merely 39% believing they have the right priorities. Other findings show a massive 69% of voters think the party is “too focused on being politically correct,” and 51% perceive it as “elitist.”

Meanwhile, after President Trump’s address to a Joint Session of Congress, polls indicate overwhelming approval for his speech. Even CNN had to acknowledge the massive 69% approval of President Trump’s address.

The CNN/SSRS poll found that 44% of viewers had a “very positive” view of President Trump’s speech, with 25% having a “somewhat positive” view, leaving only 31% with a negative perspective.

CBS News conducted a poll of 1,207 viewers, comprising 51% Republican, 27% Independent, and 20% Democratic voters. This poll found that an astounding 91% of viewers were concerned about the issues President Trump addressed.
