The fateful race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court has concluded, and the stakes have never been higher. In this pivotal battle between the Republican Brad Schimel and the far-left Democrat Susan Crawford, the future of Wisconsin’s laws and political landscape hung in the balance.
Wisconsin voters understand the gravity of this race, which will determine critical issues such as election laws, voter ID laws, ballot drop boxes, and the redistricting of the state’s eight US House seats.
At present, Republicans proudly hold a 6-2 majority in Wisconsin’s US House seats. However, the baffling ability of Democrats to win statewide races despite these numbers is raising eyebrows all across the nation.
In a state President Trump once won, Democrats managed to secure an unexpected victory for a US Senate seat, causing many to question the integrity of the process.
Initially, Brad Schimel took an early lead. But at 20:30 Central Time, an update revealed: Susan Crawford was pulling ahead. By 8:40 PM, Decision Desk HQ projected Susan Crawford as the winner.

Crawford’s radical left-wing agenda has conservatives understandably concerned. Her leniency is highlighted in the case of Kevin Welton, a convicted child sex offender, where she sentenced him to a mere four years, despite prosecutors advocating for a decade. Due to her decision to run sentences concurrently, Welton was released in just two years.
Susan Crawford defeats Brad Schimel in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, securing a liberal majority. As a judge, she ruled to release a convicted child abuser, allowing him to live across from an elementary school. Democrats claim the election was safe and secure.

Susan Crawford’s history is littered with radicalism. As a former attorney for Planned Parenthood, she fought to keep abortion unrestricted and led efforts against Act 10, a law that reined in public union power under Governor Scott Walker. Labeling voter ID laws as “draconian,” Crawford actively worked with the League of Women Voters to dismantle them.
Can anyone genuinely believe she achieved a 13-point victory in Wisconsin?
Reports earlier on Tuesday indicated that if Schimel didn’t emerge victorious, the Democrats would seize control, redraw congressional maps, and potentially capture at least two Republican House seats by 2026.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has openly expressed that a liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court is their avenue to revisiting and redrawing the state’s congressional maps.
While the state legislative districts have been redrawn for the 2024 elections, the congressional districts remained untouched after the Wisconsin Supreme Court chose not to reconsider them. Electing Susan Crawford may allow Democrats to pursue redistricting that aligns with their agenda.
This race saw unprecedented spending, with over $90 million funneled into the campaigns, marking it the most expensive judicial election in US history. Known figures like George Soros contributed $1 million to the Wisconsin Democratic Party, and former Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker donated $500,000. In turn, the Democrat party funneled $2 million to Crawford’s campaign.
