In a recent interview with ABC News, Jennifer Vasquez, wife of deported MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, remained tight-lipped about a protective order she filed against him in 2021. Court records reveal she sought protection due to domestic violence fears, but during the interview, she evaded questions from host Michael Strahan.

Michael Strahan (ABC News): “I have to ask it. You did take out a temporary order of protection against your husband in 2021. Were you in fear of your husband?”

Jennifer Vasquez: “My husband is alive. That’s all I can say.”

Documents from The Chesapeake Today disclose that Vasquez pursued the order in Prince George’s County, Maryland on May 13, 2021, with a final order issued on June 17, 2021, by Judge LaKeecia Allen, who was promoted to the Circuit Court by Democrat Governor Wes Moore.

Meanwhile, Vasquez’s emotional outreach has led to a GoFundMe campaign raising over $170,000, portraying Abrego Garcia as a devoted father. The page describes him as a reliable presence for their three children, two of whom have autism and one with epilepsy.

“Kilmar is an excellent father. He has always been there for our three children and all of their needs. Two of them are on the autism spectrum (ages five and nine), and our third has epilepsy (age 10). Kilmar has been the main provider of our household and the love of my life for over seven years. Since our family has been separated, I have been devastated and confused. I lost my life partner, my children lost their father, and all of our family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends have been devastated due to this unjust family separation.”

Curiously, the fundraising narrative omits any mention of the protective order or Garcia’s ties to the notorious MS-13 gang.

As her husband faces a court hearing, Vasquez, who previously accused him of violence, is now appealing to the American public for his return to U.S. soil despite his illegal status.

Vasquez: Today is 34 days after his disappearance, and I stand before you filled with spirit that refuses to bring down. I will not stop fighting until I see my husband alive. Kilmar, if you can hear me, stay strong. God hasn’t forgotten about you. Our children are asking, when would you come home? And I pray for the day I tell them the time and date that you’ll return.

Democrats and their media partners are tirelessly constructing a narrative of Garcia as a caring father wrongfully deported. However, they gloss over his verified connections to the MS-13 gang, as confirmed by two separate court rulings leading to his deportation under the Alien Enemies Act.
