The Trump administration is boldly asserting its authority to deport illegal immigrants affiliated with the notorious Tren de Aragua (TDA), a violent criminal organization spreading fear across our nation.

Amidst the predictable backlash from leftist corners and activist judges, the White House has firmly denied any refusal to comply with a court order aiming to restrict these crucial deportations.

Standing unwavering, the administration challenges the decision made by far-left DC District Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee, who blocked the deportation of dangerous Venezuelan gang members, prioritizing criminals over the safety of American citizens.

Judge Boasberg ordered an immediate halt on deportation flights of TDA gang members, who were being removed under the Alien Enemies Act (1798)—a law crafted to protect Americans from foreign threats during wartime.

In a shocking move, the judge demanded that planes already airborne turn around, bringing these violent criminals back into our homeland.

According to ABC News, Judge Boasberg stated: “You shall inform your clients of this immediately. Any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States.”

“However that’s accomplished, turning around the plane, or not embarking anyone on the plane…this is something that you need to make sure is complied with immediately.”

Boasberg, serving as Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., appears to overstep his bounds, attempting to dictate immigration policy from the bench and override the President’s authority.

According to far-left Axios, the White House maintained that it ignored the court order, citing that the flights were over international waters where the ruling didn’t apply.

Despite the radical left’s attempt to portray this as defying the courts, the White House categorically refuted such claims. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized that Judge Boasberg overstepped:

“The Administration did not ‘refuse to comply’ with a court order. The order, which had no lawful basis, was issued after terrorist TdA aliens had already been removed from U.S. territory. The written order and the Administration’s actions do not conflict. Moreover, as the Supreme Court has repeatedly made clear — federal courts generally have no jurisdiction over the President’s conduct of foreign affairs, his authorities under the Alien Enemies Act, and his core Article II powers to remove foreign alien terrorists from U.S. soil and repel a declared invasion. A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movements of an aircraft carrying foreign alien terrorists who were physically expelled from U.S. soil.”

The DOJ revealed that the deported criminal aliens were already outside U.S. jurisdiction when Boasberg issued his order. Clearly, this radical judge has no authority over international airspace.

In a powerful statement, the DOJ declared: “Going forward, and in the absence of appellate relief, Federal Defendants will continue to protect the United States using authorities other than the Proclamation.” This unwavering commitment shows the administration’s resolve to secure our borders and protect American citizens.
