The political position on this has absolutely no bearing on the decision. This is purely from a safety point for our guests and our attendees.
This decision has not gone unnoticed. Critics have lambasted Nicholl, calling him a “communist coward” for allegedly caving to political pressures. The auto show took to social media with their announcement but quickly faced backlash. The flood of pro-Tesla messages forced the show organizers to disable replies on their X account.
