President Trump announces JFK files release.

President Trump has taken a bold step at the Kennedy Center, making a historic announcement that is sure to resonate across the nation. In a powerful statement, he revealed that the long-awaited JFK files are set to be released, fulfilling a significant campaign promise. This monumental release includes approximately 80,000 documents that have been sealed from the public eye for decades.

“We are announcing and giving all the Kennedy files,” Trump declared with conviction. “People have been waiting for decades for this.” The President further explained that a dedicated group, led by DNI Secretary Tulsi Gabbard, would be overseeing the revelation of these files.

In a previous executive move, Trump signed an order in January to declassify critical files concerning the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “A lot of people are waiting for this for a long time – years – decades,” he expressed, driving home the transparency theme. “Everything will be revealed.” This aligns with his 2024 presidential campaign pledges to unveil the JFK files.

The release could potentially challenge the controversial “magic bullet” theory and shed light on the possibility of a second shooter in addition to Lee Harvey Oswald. The Warren Commission’s account suggests a single bullet injured both Kennedy and Texas Governor John B. Connally Jr., but new insights from witnesses might change that narrative.

JFK assassination witness Paul Landis asserts that the bullet which struck Kennedy in the back was “undercharged” and exited his body without striking Connally, suggesting a second shooter may have been involved. James Robenalt, a seasoned attorney and historian, supports the significance of Landis’s account, indicating it opens up further investigation into the tragic event.
