President Trump, in a bold statement from the Oval Office on Thursday, called for MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Maddow to resign over their disgraceful comments targeting 13-year-old brain cancer survivor, DJ Daniel. This comes after the young hero was honored by Trump himself, who made him an honorary member of the Secret Service during an address to Congress. In what can only be described as a shameless display of disdain, Democrats refused to applaud or stand for DJ.
The Gateway Pundit highlighted how Wallace, in an appalling politicization of the moment, brought up January 6 and disparaged Trump and his supporters.
“I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters… And if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide,” Wallace stated.
Rachel Maddow weighed in as well, labeling Trump’s gesture as “disgusting.” In response, DJ’s father, Theodis Daniel, made his feelings known about Maddow and the Democrats’ behavior during the speech. “She needs to shut her mouth if she has nothing nice to say,” he said, emphasizing that Maddow should refrain from spreading her negativity.
DJ himself, showing remarkable resilience, addressed the Democrats’ negativity with a spirited remark, “If you’re a Democrat and you’re being mean to President Trump, I’m on your bumper!”
In a firm condemnation of MSNBC’s heartless assault on the young survivor, President Trump lambasted the network and its far-left anchors for losing all credibility.
Trump: Worse than CNN is MSDNC, which is the worst. And the good news is very few people watch them anymore. They have lost such credibility. And frankly, what Nicole Wallace said; I’ve never been a fan of hers, and she’s not very talented. But I’ll tell you what she said the other day about that young man is disgraceful.
He continued, “She should be forced to resign, and Rachel Maddow should be forced to resign. Nobody watches her anyway. I don’t know, it’s not possible they pay her as much money as I hear, but certainly she’s lost all credibility, both of them. But what they said the other day, they should be forced to resign— about that young person who was, who was suffering greatly.”
