Patriots, it’s a showdown between two conservative heavyweights—Tucker Carlson and Senator Tom Cotton. The airwaves are buzzing after Carlson, the former Fox News sensation, took to an interview with ex-CNN host Chris Cuomo to drop a bombshell accusation against Cotton, the steadfast Senator from Arkansas.Without holding back, Carlson alleged that Cotton, wielding his influence on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, had blocked a key hire. The reason? Allegedly, the individual was poised to push for the release of long-concealed files concerning the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The explosive moment in the interview can be viewed below:
“In January, as the new administration took shape, there was a scramble over key positions,” Carlson stated, pinpointing the 44-minute mark of the discussion. He continued, “A candidate for a crucial intelligence role was blackballed, reportedly because a Senate Intelligence member, concerned about JFK file revelations, intervened.”
He pressed on, “This isn’t ancient history—this happened in 2025. Why would a sitting U.S. Senator be so determined to obscure these records?” Carlson questioned the motives behind such secrecy, especially given how much time has passed since Kennedy’s tragic death.
Carlson’s claims took a dramatic turn when he identified Cotton around the 50:19 mark, upon Cuomo’s insistence for a name. “Tom Cotton of Arkansas,” Carlson revealed confidently.
Pressed further, Carlson admitted, “I didn’t sit down with him… I’m not sure he will do an interview with me,” around the 50:40 mark.
Responding swiftly, Cotton took to social media platform X, firmly denying Carlson’s claims. He asserted, “This is false. I have no problem releasing the ‘JFK files.’ Had @tuckercarlson asked me, I would’ve told him.”

Highlighting his unwavering stance, Cotton explained he had “never spoken to President Trump or his associates or administration officials about the files” and expressed his confidence in officials like Tulsi Gabbard and John Ratcliffe to handle the matter properly.
Both Carlson and Cotton have been stalwarts in conservative circles, each earning respect and critique. But now, their paths have diverged with allegations that leave no room for middle ground. The truth remains elusive, and conservatives watch closely as this unfolds.
