In a heart-wrenching update from the Syrian frontlines, harrowing testimonies have emerged of unspeakable atrocities committed by Islamist militias. These militants, with their deep-seated disdain for those they brand as infidels, have targeted the Alawite community with brutal force. A witness chillingly claims that over 6,000 foreign fighters partook in this grotesque genocide.

The heinous acts unfolded in coastal cities like Baniyas, Tartus, Jableh, and Latakia, implicating fighters from Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Tajikistan, and beyond. One brave witness penned a vivid account to American pundit Pamela Geller, hoping to shed light on these war crimes and bring jihadist perpetrators to justice.

With the collapse of Assad’s regime in December 2024, HTS (a faction of ISIS) under Al Jolani’s leadership seized Syria, escalating their attacks in early March 2025. Mosques reverberated with calls for jihad against Alawites, urging militants to attack the coastal regions.

Heartbreakingly, a witness recounted the loss of 25 relatives in Baniyas, including an 85-year-old father. The militants, rigged with bigotry, left no stone unturned—massacring those who identified as Alawites, looting homes, and even calling Al Jazeera to falsely report peace after washing away the bloodstains.

The atrocities were compounded by a sinister twist as the UN and media crews were misled. Militants ensured these parties visited untouched villages, threatening locals into silence.

RT correspondent Elizabeth Blade revealed firsthand accounts of this brutality. Marwa, a pseudonym for a local witness, described the terror of sectarian targeting, where families feared for their lives, forced to abandon funerals and their homes in fear of identification as Alawites.

Another witness, Isabella, portrayed the violence as an “Alawite-hunting safari.” Villages, like those near Hmaymeim airport, were decimated, with men, women, and children slaughtered indiscriminately.

Despite the terror, there’s a spark of hope as Al Sharaa’s administration supposedly established a fact-finding committee to investigate these gruesome incidents. However, skepticism abounds, given the regime’s historical ties to these factions.

Marwa exposed the facade orchestrated by the regime, faking evidence to deceive international observers. The haunting reality: villagers were coerced, bribed, or threatened to manipulate testimonies.

In a poignant testimony shared by Pamela Geller, Bara’a recounted the brutal murder of her husband and in-laws, showcasing the sheer inhumanity of these violent raids.

Greek City Times provided further insight into the plight of minorities, recounting the harrowing ordeal of Greek Orthodox Christians facing a similar threat. Johnny S., confined to his home, braved danger only to collect his relatives’ bodies, a grim reminder of the ongoing terror.

Witness Eli H., a proud Greek Orthodox, expressed fears of the violence spreading further inland, foreseeing the potential genocide creeping into Homs and Hama.

On the Ron Paul Liberty Report, Syrian observer Kevork Almassian recounted the dark history of U.S. interventions in Syria, highlighting the connection to radical forces. The question remains: who funded these terror squads, and why? As the world watches, the voices of the fallen and the survivors call for justice and remembrance.
