Homan hinted that such leaders could face arrest if they persist in defying the federal government.
The legal foundation for this stance is 8 U.S. Code § 1324, which outlines serious consequences, including prison time, for actions like bringing in, transporting, or concealing illegal aliens. These penalties are even harsher if such actions result in injury or death.
During a press gaggle at the White House, Homan confidently stated, “When they cross the line of harboring and concealing, that’s a felony, and we have Pam Bondi ready to take action.”
Earlier, a conversation with U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, appointed by Trump for Central California, revealed a strong commitment to prosecuting anyone who obstructs federal law enforcement, potentially including California politicians involved in protecting illegal aliens.

Homan affirmed the intent to prosecute, stating, “Absolutely. Hold tight on that one because it’s coming.” He emphasized the expectation of significant developments in the coming months, assuring that the Trump administration is resolute in its mission to secure American communities.

Conradson: There are laws on the books that make it a criminal offense to shield or harbor illegal immigrants, like the sanctuary state and city leaders have been doing. Do you think they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and possibly put in prison?
Homan: Absolutely. And hold tight on that one because it’s coming. It’s coming. I’ve been clear on that since day one. Sanctuary cities can sit by and watch their communities get ravaged by illegal aliens. They can watch young women get raped and murdered. The Trump administration’s not going to stand for that. So, look, they can stand by and watch, and the Trump Administration will secure their communities. The Trump administration will drive down illegal alien crime in this country. If they don’t want to do it, we’ll do it for ‘em.
