The outspoken California Congresswoman Maxine Waters is making headlines once again. Speaking at an anti-Trump rally in Los Angeles, Waters floated the idea that First Lady Melania Trump might be undocumented and could be deported.

“When he [Trump] talks about birthright, and he’s going to undo the fact that the Constitution allows those who are born here, even if the parents are undocumented, they have a right to stay in America,” she expressed. “If he wants to start looking so closely to find those who were born here and their parents were undocumented, maybe he ought to first look at Melania.”

She further suggested scrutinizing Melania’s own immigration status: “We don’t know whether or not her parents were documented. And maybe we better just take a look.”

Melania Trump, originally from Slovenia, came to the U.S. in 1996 on a visitor visa and subsequently worked under various legal work visas, including the H-1B. She gained her green card in 2001 through the EB-1 program and became a U.S. citizen in 2006, a year after marrying Donald Trump.

In another controversial statement, Waters speculated that President Trump’s decisive victory might have been influenced by Elon Musk tampering with election results through advanced technological means.

“We don’t know everything that Elon Musk has done, with his high technology ass,” Waters alleged in an interview. “We don’t know what he’s been accused of by some as it may relate to the election, but we’re not going to give up in investigating and finding out.”

Despite the contested methods, some leftists believe that Musk’s Starlink satellite network could have been used to manipulate the 2024 election results, boosting Trump’s vote counts.

Just last week, Waters accused Trump of inciting a civil war in the United States.

“I believe [Trump] expects violence,” she declared at a press conference. “I believe he expects confrontation. I believe he’s working toward a civil war.”
