The New York State Attorney General Letitia James has been on a relentless mission against President Trump, but is there more to her story? The drama seems to extend beyond the political arena and into her personal life, particularly involving her own father. Let’s unpack this intriguing saga.
Robert James, Letitia’s father, was born in South Carolina in 1916 and later moved to New York City with his wife, Nellie. Together, they raised eight children, Letitia being one of them, in a cramped 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment at 44 Butler Place in Brooklyn.
As a teenager, Letitia experienced a seismic shift when her father left the family for his girlfriend, Joyce Mosby, leaving Nellie to care for the family on her own. Despite his departure, Robert James acquired a property in Queens with Mosby, leaving Letitia and her siblings to manage without him.
In 1983, yearning for personal space after her college graduation, Letitia supposedly listed her father as her husband to secure a mortgage for a townhome on Inwood Street. Records from the New York City Department of Finance reveal that on May 20, 1983, Letitia and Robert James borrowed $30,300 from Kadilac Funding Ltd, posing as “husband and wife”—an act that edges into the territory of mortgage fraud.
Such misrepresentation is illegal and carries serious implications. Letitia’s relationship history remains relatively obscure, with no marriages or confirmed partnerships known to the public, sparking speculation about her personal life.
The emotional impact of childhood family dynamics can ripple into adulthood, affecting trust and relationships. Letitia’s aggressive pursuit of Trump, especially her civil lawsuit against him alleging financial misconduct, could potentially be seen as a proxy battle against unresolved personal grievances.
Interestingly, her own alleged involvement in mortgage fraud parallels the charges she levied against Trump. Could her actions against Trump be a manifestation of unresolved emotional conflicts, possibly aiming to avenge perceived wrongs from her past?
