The depths to which Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) will stoop seem boundless, demonstrating a shocking lack of respect for Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Crockett, with her audacious rhetoric, mocked the governor, who is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair, by calling him “Governor Hot Wheels” during her speech at the Los Angeles Human Rights Campaign event.
As if mocking a disabled individual wasn’t enough, the leftist crowd in attendance responded with laughter and applause. This paints a picture of an audience that claims to be caring yet indulges in such disrespectful behavior.
In the days surrounding this incident, Crockett further fueled divisiveness by advocating violence against Republicans. She called for physical attacks against Texas Senator Ted Cruz, stating, “I mean, this dude needs to be knocked over the head, hard!” and “There’s no niceties with him…You go clean off of him!”
Crockett, well-known for her criticisms of Elon Musk as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), also joined the “Tesla Takedown” movement. This group is notorious for organizing boycotts and protests against Tesla dealerships. During a virtual rally, she stated, “I am truly here for very selfish reasons,” and added, “Starting with March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down! Yes!”
Returning to her appalling comments about Governor Abbott, Crockett addressed the crowd, “We in these hot-ass Texas streets, honey. You all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there? Come on now.” The crowd responded with claps and cheers as she went on, “The only thing hot about him is that he is a hot-ass mess, honey. So yes. Yes, yes, yes.”
