It’s about time someone stood up to the Democrats, and this time, it was a patriotic flight attendant who did just that. Earlier this week, Democrats crossed a line, and now some are feeling the heat. But it appears they’ve made their bed, and now they must lie in it.
On Thursday, Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna of California shared on social media platform X about an encounter at Chicago’s airport. A flight attendant, Jim Barrett, felt compelled to chase Khanna down and voice his displeasure over the Democrats’ disgraceful antics during President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress.
“Sir, I am a Democrat but the way the party behaved was embarrassing. Made us look heartless,” Barrett reportedly expressed, confronting Khanna.
Even for those who’ve come to expect the worst from Democrats, this latest stunt took things to a new low. We saw Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas refuse to stop heckling President Trump, resulting in House Speaker Mike Johnson ordering his removal from the chamber. Subsequently, the House formally censured Green for his unruly behavior.
But things only went downhill from there. The Democrats refused to stand, applaud, or even acknowledge the release of an American prisoner from Russia, the families of two American women killed by illegal aliens, or a young brain cancer survivor with a passion for law enforcement, whom Trump honored as an honorary Secret Service member. The Democrats’ hearts seem to warm only to misguided causes, like men in women’s sports and stoking tensions in Ukraine.
Barrett, the flight attendant, didn’t hold back either:

Khanna, in a follow-up, barely defended his party, claiming a few Democrats did stand to clap. But since when has the party of “kindness” shown such virtues?

Let’s not forget, this is the same party that, on Monday, voted against a bill aimed at preventing federally funded schools from letting males compete in female sports. When President Trump spoke on Tuesday, these same legislators oozed hatred and disdain. No wonder a CNN poll found that 80% of viewers thought Green’s behavior was “inappropriate.”
Unsurprisingly, social media users lambasted the Democrats’ childish antics while a CBS poll reflected overwhelming approval for Trump’s speech, with a 76% approval rating.
The truth is, Democrats are in chaos, scrambling to clean up their mess, but the damage is done. They made their deal, and now they must embody the hatred their radical base demands. They cannot afford to show decency, even for a child cancer survivor, lest they lose support in their strongholds. It’s a sad testament to the depths of their deranged worldview.
