In a revealing interview on Senator Ted Cruz’s podcast, “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” tech mogul Elon Musk shared some startling insights about the workings of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump Administration. The episode, co-hosted by Ben Ferguson and filmed at the White House, unveiled significant findings from DOGE’s investigations.

Musk disclosed that DOGE had uncovered millions of government-issued credit cards, each with a $10,000 limit. The department is reportedly saving the American taxpayers approximately $105 billion through strategic measures like asset sales, contract cancellations, and fraud elimination.

Despite these savings, Democrats are attempting to block DOGE, challenging its authority and operations with nearly a dozen lawsuits. Additionally, 14 states have reportedly formed an alliance to counter DOGE and Musk through coordinated legal actions.

In a recent update, DOGE announced that it had deactivated 200,000 government credit cards across 16 agencies. However, a staggering 4.6 million cards remain active.

Musk remarked, “DOGE found twice as many credit cards as there are humans. And these are cards with $10,000 per month limits! That’s a lot of money!” He emphasized that the waste-to-fraud ratio is approximately 80% waste and 20% fraud.

Further, Musk revealed a significant scam involving nonprofits, stating, “The government can give money to so-called nonprofits with very few controls, and there’s no auditing of that nonprofit.” These nonprofits reportedly misuse billions of dollars from the U.S. government, with figures like Stacey Abrams allegedly exploiting the system.

“They then give themselves extremely lavish, like insane salaries, expense everything to the nonprofit – you know, buy jets and homes all sorts of things,” Musk added.
