Patriots, we find ourselves at a crossroads where once again, the actions of those in power are called into question. The notorious shooting event at the Route 91 Harvest music festival on October 1, 2017, still echoes in our minds. The tragedy claimed 59 souls and wounded over 500, as the heart of Las Vegas was marred by chaos from the sky. John Pelletier, then an LVMPD captain, was at the helm overseeing the investigation of this grim chapter in American history.
The official narrative concluded that Stephen Paddock acted alone, but the investigation left many, including vigilant citizens, questioning the depth and accuracy of this conclusion. Mindy Robinson’s revealing documentary, which you can view here, sheds light on these overlooked inconsistencies.
Pelletier’s career later led him to Maui, Hawaii, where he became the police chief on December 15, 2021. However, tragedy seems to shadow his leadership; he was chief during the devastating Lahaina Fire on August 8, 2023, which tragically took 102 lives. Public outcry followed, citing mismanagement and poor emergency planning. Calls are now growing for his administrative leave amid his recent implication in a shocking federal lawsuit alongside controversial hip-hop figure Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
This lawsuit, detailed here, originated in October 2024 by Ashley Parham and others, and was recently amended to include Pelletier and other notable figures.

The allegations against Pelletier date back to 2018, during his tenure providing security for Combs. The lawsuit claims that Pelletier was involved in a cover-up of a heinous crime and further accuses him of masquerading as a sheriff to silence the victim’s cries for justice.
According to the complaint, Pelletier allegedly presented a neighbor with a suspicious envelope after failing to assist the victim, Ashley Parham, who was reportedly assaulted by Combs and his entourage. The neighbor’s compliance suggests possible bribery, a notion that strengthens the call for transparency and accountability in our justice system.
The plaintiffs, identified as John and Jane Doe, accuse Pelletier of kidnapping them at gunpoint from their Las Vegas homes, under the guise of extradition for fictitious warrants. This claim paints a terrifying picture of abuse of authority.

The lawsuit implies a harrowing tale of human trafficking, with the mother and son plaintiffs being transported across California and held against their will. Their ordeal echoes a need for greater vigilance and reform.
Mayor Richard Bissen has called for Pelletier’s administrative leave as investigations unfold. Despite these severe allegations, the Maui Police Department stands by Pelletier, dismissing the claims as baseless. Alana Pico, representing the department, confidently stated that all allegations would be proven false by the evidence.
As patriots, we must demand the truth and accountability from our public servants, ensuring they uphold the values we hold dear—justice, integrity, and service to the community.
