Detroit’s stalwart activist Ramone Jackson, who is vying for a spot on Detroit’s city council, took a significant step by rallying around 80 Detroit residents to Washington, D.C. Joining forces with the respected Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, their mission was to spotlight the rampant voter fraud in Detroit, a city with a predominantly black population. Accompanying them were Larry Jasper and Craig Jefferson from Pontiac, MI, another black-majority city, to draw attention to their own electoral challenges. Notable figures such as election integrity expert and former Trump attorney Cleta Mitchell, along with Representatives Chip Roy (R-TX), Mark Miller (R-IN), and Josh Breechan (R-OK), stood with the Detroiters to discuss the importance of the SAVE Act, aiming to fortify election integrity by requiring proof of citizenship to vote in every state.
Addressing the assembly before three U.S. lawmakers, none hailing from Michigan, Jackson criticized the narrative that only White Republicans are concerned about voter fraud, emphasizing the presence of over 80 Black Detroit citizens as undeniable proof to the contrary. He spotlighted the ongoing lawsuit against Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey and Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, awaiting a hearing in the 6th District Court, hoping for a Republican jury that would fairly adjudicate on voter fraud issues in Detroit.
Jackson, a victim of identity theft himself, described how others used his name to vote illegally while he resided temporarily in Ohio. He recounted numerous instances where Detroit residents, unbeknownst to them, appeared on voter rolls as having voted, when in fact they had not. This fraudulent manipulation of voter rolls is a critical issue he aims to rectify.

For decades, Detroit’s elections, long managed by crooked Democrats, have exemplified unchecked electoral malpractice. The 2020 election was a glaring display of such fraud. Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, backed initially by George Soros, has not only shielded these fraudulent activities but has also vilified those calling out the deception, branding them as “election deniers” or “racists.”
Cleta Mitchell, a champion of election integrity and former Trump lawyer, publicly supported Jackson and Sewell. She shared with the crowd her initial introduction to Pastor Sewell’s revelations about voter fraud in Detroit. “I founded the election integrity network after witnessing electoral discrepancies in Georgia,” Mitchell proclaimed, highlighting similar fraudulent activities across the nation, including in Detroit.
Mitchell emphasized the critical need for the SAVE Act due to broken federal laws. She highlighted how hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, are registered without proper identification, a loophole exploited by fraudulent voting. She cited a lawsuit in Florida, which showcased voting without verifiable ID, allowing phantom voters to manipulate election outcomes.
Before ceding the floor to Pastor Sewell, Mitchell sternly declared, “Our elections are fraud-ridden, and have been designed to be so.” She accused those responsible of hiding behind black communities as a shield while perpetuating these electoral frauds.
Mitchell urged lawmakers and the Department of Justice to investigate these electoral crimes against black communities and all Americans, calling for legislative hearings and law reform to secure future elections.

Despite the hurdles, Jackson remains undeterred. Detroit’s election officials charge him for each update of the voter rolls, yet many rolls are incomplete. Jackson cited Detroit Deputy Clerk Darian Bird’s claim of missing 5% of the 2020 voter list, a glaring lapse in compliance with Michigan election law.
Pastor Sewell, celebrated for his prayer at President Trump’s inauguration, passionately addressed the rally. He questioned, “Why travel from Detroit?” The answer: “Because the people of Detroit discovered a political murderer—Election Fraud!” Pastor Sewell’s fervent address further galvanized the crowd.

Following the rally, Jackson shared further insights into voter roll discrepancies, recounting a woman on the bus, now a Texas resident, who appeared on Detroit’s voter rolls for the 2016 elections. Such cases underscore the depth of electoral irregularities Detroit faces.
Fudail Gibson, another event speaker, discovered unknown individuals receiving mail to his address who were, suspiciously, listed as voters from his home. Regina Ross, a former Detroit City Council candidate who narrowly lost, joined the rally to combat these electoral injustices.
Ramone Jackson is resolute in his mission to expose and rectify years of electoral manipulation, backed by committed allies like Cleta Mitchell and Pastor Sewell. Together, they aim to achieve what no one in Detroit’s history has—reform their corrupt electoral system and restore integrity.
