In a move that speaks volumes about Europe’s growing concerns over Russian aggression, Denmark is preparing to send its military drone operators to Ukraine for what they call “training.” This action comes amidst heightened tensions, as globalists in Europe perceive an increasing threat from Russia to the continent.
Denmark’s strategy involves deploying ‘unarmed troops’ to Western Ukraine, a region considered distant from the war’s front lines, to gain firsthand experience in drone warfare. Maj. Gen. Peter Boysen, the Danish commander in chief, emphasized that these troops will not engage directly in combat, stating, “They are not going there to actively participate in the war.”
However, this decision has not gone unnoticed by Russia. The Russian ambassador to Denmark, Vladimir Barbin, issued a stark warning, labeling these soldiers as ‘legitimate military targets.’ Barbin cautioned that facilities, including headquarters and training centers, even those deep within Ukrainian territory, could be targeted.
According to Business Insider, Maj. Gen. Boysen mentioned that Denmark’s aim is to learn from Ukraine’s extensive combat experience with drones. “We’re sending some teams down to see what experiences the Ukrainians have had — first-hand,” he asserted.
The planned courses for Danish drone operators are set to begin in the summer, lasting one to two weeks. The rapid advancement in drone warfare underscores the importance of this initiative, as Boysen highlighted the critical need to learn and improve from Ukraine’s battlefield insights.
