Fake News CNN is at it again, folks! Dana Bash thought she could smear the fearless independent journalist, Laura Loomer, after Loomer’s decisive role in the dismissal of several neocon National Security Council staffers under President Trump. But her narrative is falling apart faster than a house of cards in a storm.
President Trump, showcasing his bold leadership, dismissed at least three NSC staffers, a decision made soon after a meeting with Loomer. During this pivotal Oval Office visit, Loomer urged the president to remove certain staff members, including the principal deputy national security adviser, Alex Wong. As Axios reported, Loomer was deeply concerned about “neocons” infiltrating the administration.
While Bash and fellow CNN pundits Kaitlan Collins and Katie Bo Ellis tried to paint Loomer as a “far-right conspiracy theorist,” it’s clear their narrative isn’t sticking. They even went so far as to accuse Loomer of racist comments toward Kamala Harris, a desperate attempt to deflect from the real issues.
CNN is MELTING DOWN over @LauraLoomer exposing the Biden holdovers that had NO BUSINESS being on Trump’s team. The way they describe these people justifies Trump firing them. Kaitlan Collins REALLY doesn’t like how Loomer said the White House would smell like curry if Harris…

Loomer didn’t take this lying down. She fired back, pointing out Bash’s glaring conflict of interest. Loomer highlighted Ivan Kanapathy, an NSC staffer with questionable ties, who worked closely with Trump-critical figures like Mike Morrell and Leon Panetta at Beacon Global Strategies. These individuals were part of the infamous group that falsely labeled the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation.
Loomer spotlighted the cozy relationship between Kanapathy and Bash’s ex-husband, Jeremy Bash, who also worked at Beacon Global Strategies. It’s shocking that Dana Bash failed to disclose that her ex-husband collaborated with Kanapathy just two months ago. This is the same Jeremy Bash who was among the 51 intelligence officials who falsely denounced the Hunter Biden laptop story as a Russian operation.
Jeremy Bash, a former CIA and Department of Defense chief of staff under Obama, had his security clearance revoked by President Trump after signing the misleading 2020 intel letter. Loomer rightfully questions how someone with Democratic-friendly intel ties like Kanapathy slipped past the administration’s vetting process.
It’s no wonder Dana Bash is unhappy about Loomer revealing the truth. The American people deserve transparency, and it’s time to demand answers about how individuals like Kanapathy are infiltrating our national security apparatus.
