A recent ruling from the bench of Judge William Alsup, a known Clinton appointee, has sent shockwaves through Washington. The judge declared the Trump Administration’s Office of Personnel Management (OPM) had illegally dismissed thousands of probationary workers, demanding their rehiring across six major federal agencies.

Judge Alsup didn’t hold back, emphasizing that he felt deceived by the U.S. Government. He reprimanded the administration, stating it was a sorry day when good employees were falsely terminated under the guise of performance issues. “That should not have been done in our country. It was a sham in order to avoid statutory requirements,” he declared.

The precise number of those terminated by the Trump Administration remains uncertain, though the potential figure exceeds 200,000 across various departments.

Departments impacted by these terminations included Energy, Veterans Affairs, Education, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Small Business Administration. According to reports from far-left CNN, terminations were executed via emails, form letters, and video calls, with numerous OPM workers receiving their notices during a Microsoft Teams call.

Reports highlight between 1,200 and 2,000 layoffs occurred within the Department of Energy, notably affecting the sector managing the nuclear arsenal. Simultaneously, nearly 1,300 probationary employees, around 10% of the CDC’s workforce, faced dismissal.
