With members like those orchestrating what looks like a judicial coup against the President of the United States, one has to wonder if these gatherings are just casual or if they involve discussions against Trump and his supporters.
Recently, Chief Justice Roberts released a statement defending the judiciary against calls for impeachment by President Trump, who has criticized these district judges for their actions.
“For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”

Stefanik argues that Howell’s actions and public statements undermine judicial independence and confidence in the judiciary, highlighting Howell’s past supervision of grand jury proceedings against Trump and his associates.

Judge James Boasberg, also an Obama appointee, recently issued a restraining order halting the deportation of Venezuelan nationals, despite concerns over illegal immigration’s impact on national security.
