In Del City, Oklahoma, police are searching for Cortez Davis and Jessica Ellis after an altercation at a Pizza Hut on May 18. The couple allegedly became violent following an order mix-up at the restaurant.

According to Oklahoma’s News 4, an employee mistakenly gave their order to another customer, prompting Ellis to enter the establishment, demand a resolution, and verbally abuse the employee. The confrontation escalated when Ellis reportedly spat in the employee’s face while he was attempting to issue a refund for the $22.49 order.

“I’M SURE IT WAS THE WORST DAY OF THAT PIZZA HUT EMPLOYEE’S LIFE,” AN OBSERVER COMMENTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

Following Ellis’s departure, Davis allegedly entered the Pizza Hut and assaulted the employee, purportedly punching him, curb-stomping him three times, and kicking him in the head. The couple left without obtaining either the food or a refund.

Authorities report that Ellis admitted to much of the incident when contacted by phone, yet remained fixated on receiving her refund. She reportedly called 911 multiple times, insisting that police deliver the $22.49 refund to her.
