Democrat Celebration continues to splinter over Israel
The Democrat Celebration union is fracturing over Israel.
It might cost Joe Biden the election.
Democrats in key states are arranging demonstration projects to vote “uncommitted” to send out a message to Joe Biden he needs to solve with the party’s pro-Palestinian base.
More than 100,000 Democrats voted uncommitted in the Michigan Democrat Presidential Main and 48,000– more than double the organizer’s goal of 20,000- voted uncommitted in Wisconsin’s main.
Given the closeness of the race, that suffices of a margin to cost Biden those states.
If Biden loses Michigan and Wisconsin, he will lose the White House.
However in an interview with CBS’ Stephen Colber, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared it was an advantage Biden dealt with a growing protest movement.
“We need to acknowledge actually the upside of the uncommitted movement, which is that these are folks that might have easily paved the way to cynicism and left this process totally,” Ocasio Cortez declared.
Ocasio-Cortez thinks pushing Biden to support Hamas’ need for a ceasefire in a good idea
Ocasio-Cortez praised the uncommitted vote as a method to pressure Biden to support a ceasefire in Gaza.
“The Democratic Party has constantly been a coalition party and we have to bring everybody together each time since that’s what it suggests to be American,” Ocasio Cortez continued.
“If our dedication to lasting peace, worldwide democracy, and our own worths for flexibility of speech and liberty– then if these are the worths we wish to secure then we have to acknowledge and see one another for the pain that we’re holding and once individuals seem like their concerns have been seen then we can start the process of coming together,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
A ceasefire is also Hamas’ objective as it would enable the terrorist group to stay in power and face no consequences for the October 7 attack where Hamas eliminated 1,200 Israelis.
The pressure campaign is working
Biden’s responding to surveys showing him losing Michigan by inching closer to the Hamas position accepting a ceasefire.
Every day brings new reports where Biden grows frustrated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for not bringing the war to a close.
There are no such reports about Biden’s fury that Hamas will not release the hostages– consisting of eight Americans– still kept in captivity.

It’s an open concern as to if that will ultimately backfire by alienating swing citizens.
