Watchdog Scores Major Win in Quest for UNC COVID Research Records

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A nonprofit watchdog suing the University of North Carolina to release potential gain-of-function research documents scored a major win Monday, when a judge granted the group’s request to review the records in a private courtroom setting.

“Good news. We just won today’s court hearing against the University of North Carolina about documents of Ralph Baric possibly related to the origin of Covid-19,” announced Gary Ruskin, the president of U.S. Right To Know

“We asked the judge for in camera review of the documents, and appointment of a special master. The judge granted both.”

USRTK intially filed 13 public records requests for work done by several medical professionals at the school, which the university has thus far declined to provide. Those professionals included Baric, the epidemiology professor described in legal disputes as a “close collaborator with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

“We don’t really know why UNC is trying to keep these Baric documents secret, even though there is worldwide interest in them. We do know that Ralph Baric was a close collaborator with the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Ruskin said in March.

“We also know that Baric was on the DARPA DEFUSE proposal, which in retrospect reads something like a how-to guide for creating SARS-CoV-2.”

Baric is a known associate of phony WHO COVID investigator Peter Daszak and Dr Shi Zhengli, who researches bats at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Personally, Baric is a notable figure because of his research into the insertion of pathogens into genetic code without leaving any evidence, which he allegedly used to make coronaviruses more dangerous.

USRTK previously discovered scheduled meetings between Dr. Anthony Fauci and Baric in the first weeks of the pandemic, where they allegedly discussed pandemics and genetically modified viruses.

Ruskin didn’t say when the review process of the documents he seeks will begin, or how long it will take.
