Vivek Ramaswamy and former Vice President Mike Pence’s confrontations dominated the first GOP Presidential debate.
Pence came out looking worse for wear.
And Vivek Ramaswamy sent Mike Pence into a fit of rage by speaking one brutal truth.
One of the main points of disagreement in the debate came when Ramaswamy stood out as the only Republican on the stage to oppose Joe Biden’s latest demand that Congress ship $24 billion more in taxpayer funding off to the war in Ukraine.
Ramaswamy blasted the “professional politicians” on stage who traveled to Ukraine to genuflect before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelesnky and pledge their undying allegiance to protecting the Ukrainian border.
Vivek Ramaswamy: “I find it offensive that we have professional politicians on this stage that will make a pilgrimage to Kyiv to their pope Zelensky without doing the same think for people in Maui or the south side of Chicago…”

Ramaswamy blasted this as dangerous as the job of the American President is to protect and defend America.
Instead of throwing money down a blackhole of the war in Ukraine, Ramaswamy proposed deploying military assets to the southern border to defend against the historic wave of illegal immigrants pouring into our country.
“This is disastrous, we are protecting against an invasion across somebody else’s border, when we should use those same military resources to prevent the invasion across our southern border here in the United States of America,” Ramaswamy stated.
These comments enraged the normally low-key Mike Pence.
Pence showed greater passion defending the idea of shoveling more taxpayer money to Ukraine than he ever did in articulating or defending conservative principles that could actually make the American people’s lives better.

Mike Pence continually referred to the “Trump-Pence” administration last night to try and glom on to the credit for Donald Trump’s achievements.
But this exchange on Ukraine showed Pence is more of the heir apparent to the Liz Cheney/Mitt Romney foreign policy wing of the GOP and Ramaswamy was carrying the torch for Donald Trump’s America First agenda.
