Among all books, “Melania” is positioned at No. 5, an impressive feat for a book that has not yet been released.

During the promotion of “Melania,” the former first lady talked about how the process of looking back on her life well lived has been “filled with emotional highs and lows.” She told Fox News, “Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey. Each story shaped me into who I am today.” Blurbs previewing the book hints at an expansive review of growing up in Slovenia and chasing a career in modeling to travel the world and eventually attain her American citizenship. One chapter will include “pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life.”

Elsewhere, Melania promises to open up about “the joy of motherhood” and share “behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart.” Former President Trump, her husband since 2005, is a vocal proponent of his wife’s penmanship. “If you love our former First Lady as much as me, and are ready for the Truth, buy her new book now!” he wrote in a promotional post on Truth Social. Early buyers will have access to special editions of “Melania,” including a signed $150 copy for collectors that runs 256 pages in full color and a half-colored one that will also be signed. Her memoir will be released by Skyhorse Publishing.

Since the Trump family left the White House in January 2021, Melania has left an indelible mark on American culture. Polls from earlier this year show her topping the list of former first ladies in approval ratings, even surpassing First Lady Dr. Jill Biden during the same four-year period. Former President Donald Trump is widely known for not imbibing in even a small glass of red wine, but that wasn’t the case with his brother who struggled for years with alcoholism before an untimely death, he said in a recent interview.

In a bid to reach other, more online audiences, Trump sat with Theo Von, a podcaster who commands over one million followers on X. Sporting a mullet and cowboy boots, Von turned the one-hour interview toward the subject of alcohol and tobacco, asking Trump why he never took up either habit after decades in the stressful worlds of New York real estate, celebrity mingling, and national politics. It was watching his brother’s personal addictions and untimely death, he said, that inspired him to remain sober all these years.

“I had a wonderful brother who taught me a lesson: don’t drink, don’t drink,” said the former president. “And he smoked, he said don’t smoke, and he drank. He was a great guy. He was handsome, very handsome guy, quite a bit older, and he had a problem with alcohol, smoked a lot.” Speaking for himself, Trump said he gets by on “no drugs, no drinking, no cigarettes. I tell that to my kids all the time.” Fred Trump Jr., who died of a heart attack at age 42, was in many ways a mentor to his young brother. “He was old enough that you’d look up to somebody.” Asked if he admired his brother, Trump admitted, “Yeah, I admired him a lot. So much about him. He had so much going, the look, unbelievable personality.”

Both men grew up the sons of Fred Trump, a high-flying Manhattan real estate mogul in his own right, and mother Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, a Scottish immigrant who naturalized in 1942. They married in 1936, and Fred Trump, Jr. was born two years later. Trump was born eight years later in 1946. For a time, both young men followed in their father’s footsteps as he expanded his real estate empire into a family affair. However, it was Fred Jr.’s decision to pursue a career as an airline pilot that led to a permanent fissure with their father. By the early 1970s, he was relieved of duty due to his heavy alcoholism, a factor which contributed to his death in 1981.

“He had a problem with alcohol,” Trump continued. “He got addicted to it because – and you know they say alcohol is tougher than drugs to get off of.” Von empathized, saying he’s been in recovery for the better part of the past decade. Asked by Trump whether alcohol or drugs were harder to quit, the host said the ubiquity of alcoholic beverages at the dinner table and in social settings make it an especially difficult habit to put down for good. “If everybody goes to a dinner and [is] eating, like Xanaxes or something, for appetizers,” he joked.

Turning back to his brother, Trump said the signs of addiction were obvious to him even as a teetotaler. “I was amazed because he had so much going, had everything going. I think it probably happened in college, at a fraternity maybe, or somewhere along the line it happened. This is a very common story unfortunately, and then the family would see it and start to notice it. It didn’t get better,” he lamented.

Former First Son Eric Trump pulled no punches when responding to his cousin’s decision to endorse Kamala Harris and “garbage” accusations that came along with the endorsement in a lengthy X post on Tuesday.

Fred Trump III, the nephew of former President Donald Trump, said his uncle is “atomic crazy” and claimed that he heard him use racial slurs decades ago.

“And within every family — people know this — families are complicated. Every family has their crazy uncle. My Uncle Donald is atomic crazy. And … he has put his mark on the family history,” said the former president’s nephew, who is marketing his allegations in a new book.

After trashing his uncle at length in an interview with ABC News, Fred Trump conceded that he has “always had a good relationship” with him.

Eric Trump did not take kindly to the “garbage” allegations and pushed back on them in an X post on Tuesday.

“It’s disappointing that after decades of unwavering love, support, golf memberships, family vacations and millions of dollars in support for his wonderful son, Fred Trump has decided to ‘cash in’ less than 100 days before an election,” the former president’s son wrote.

“I have signed the checks and witnessed first-hand as my father, and our family, has provided endless financial support so that Fred’s son could receive the best possible medical care. To read this garbage and see that he has now followed his troubled sister simply earn a quick buck is disgusting, disheartening and a prime example of ‘no good deed goes unpunished.”

Fred Trump frequently flip-flopped in his interview with ABC. Despite saying that he has a good relationship with his uncle, he also claimed that the former president has done “horrific things” to him. “But he’s done really horrific things to me, which some people will say, ‘How could you still want to have a relationship with him?’ He’s my uncle. He’s family, and that means a lot,” he said.

The 18-year-old golden child is in the midst of preparing to embark for college and is spending the summer serving in a prominent role with the Trump campaign. One of the hosts recounted dining with Barron at the estate before recording their interview. “[We were in the middle of talking] and all of a sudden music comes on so loud,” one of the hosts explained. “We asked what it was and Barron said, ‘my dad’s the freakin’ DJ [in this house]’.

Trump has been spotted rocking the party with his iPad, which he loves, according to Barron. However, the volume of his jamming can be overbearing at times, he added. “All you see is the president on his iPad, the lights on his face… Barron’s like, ‘I’ll be in my room and the house is shaking. My dad plays the music so loud,’” the host added, prompting some of his colleagues to burst into laughter. All kidding aside, he added that Barron “has a good head on his shoulders.”

Others complimented Barron, who may serve as a delegate to the Republican National Convention this month, with having the style and grace to host a dinner with high-profile guests. “He’s a professional. At the end [of the dinner] he was like, ‘Vinny, whenever you guys want to come for dinner, hit me up’. It was amazing,” they said.

Former President Donald Trump has lavished praise on his youngest, remarking on his height and brilliance while predicting Barron may follow in his footsteps one day. “He’s amazing, actually, in a circle here, he’s tall, good looking guys, a very good student, and he’s, he’s applied to colleges and gets into everywhere he goes. You know, he’s very sought after from the standpoint, he’s a very smart guy, he’s very tall guy, but he’s, and he’s, he’s a great kid.
