No Going Back PAC, a newly formed super PAC tied directly to Trump’s operation, reported the massive independent expenditures over the weekend, according to Federal Election Commission filings. The money is hitting Democrats where it hurts most: Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, and Georgia.

The largest chunk — $6.7 million — is aimed at former Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown. Another $3.8 million targets Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, while $2.9 million opposes former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.

New Hampshire Democrat Chris Pappas faces $1.8 million in opposition spending, and Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia is staring down roughly $780,000 in Trump-backed attacks.

Trump has said his political operation could spend as much as $500 million to help Republicans in the midterm elections.

The PAC isn’t stopping at Senate races. It’s also pouring money into competitive House districts across Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

No Going Back registered with the FEC on September 1 and shares a treasurer, address, and phone number with MAGA Inc., Trump’s primary super PAC. The two organizations are operating as a coordinated financial juggernaut — without the legal coordination restrictions that bind candidate campaigns.

MAGA Inc. reported approximately $403.5 million in cash on hand as of July 31. That’s the war chest Republican candidates have been waiting months to see deployed.

Ad reservations tell the story of Trump’s strategy. No Going Back’s bookings climbed from $25.8 million shortly after formation to nearly $49 million, then over $68 million by last week, covering six Senate races and 14 House districts.

The reservations include $15.8 million in Michigan, $11.1 million in Ohio, $10.7 million in New Hampshire, $9.1 million in Alaska, $5 million in North Carolina, and $2.1 million in Georgia. Now those reservations are converting into actual campaign firepower.

One of the PAC’s House targets is Washington’s 3rd Congressional District, where Republican state Senate leader John Braun is challenging Democratic Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. No Going Back reserved approximately $1.7 million for that race, where Trump personally endorsed Braun.

The district is competitive because Trump carried it in the last three presidential elections — even as Gluesenkamp Perez won it for Democrats in 2022 and held it in 2024.

Trump’s operation isn’t the only Republican force spending heavily. Billionaire Elon Musk’s America PAC has also begun deploying money in Senate and House contests after Musk authorized as much as $120 million for the midterm effort.

Super PACs can raise and spend unlimited money independently of candidate campaigns, but they cannot legally coordinate expenditures with the candidates they support. No Going Back isn’t required to disclose its donors the same way a candidate committee would, and because it was established only on September 1, its initial donor information won’t become public until later in the fall.

By drawing these parallels, lawmakers suggest that modern political disagreements are fundamentally about racial justice rather than policy differences.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley took the rhetoric further, claiming the Confederacy is alive and well in modern America.

“This is our freedom,” Pressley said. “Fascist agenda. The chaos and dysfunction. I have to say, y’all, it is bigger than Trump. Because whenever we do the work of ousting the occupant of the Oval Office, the Confederacy is still alive and well. White supremacy is still alive and well.”

Pressley’s comments position current political battles as an extension of the Civil War itself, suggesting that the fundamental conflict over racial equality that defined that era has never been resolved. Children’s YouTube host Ms. Rachel amplified the same narrative, telling her audience that black people don’t hang themselves from trees and citing at least seven such cases.

The involvement of social media personalities in spreading these claims demonstrates how quickly narratives can reach mass audiences before official investigations are complete. Ms. Rachel’s platform typically focuses on educational content for young children, making her venture into political commentary particularly notable.

The facts tell a different story.

A police chief in Raleigh, North Carolina, reviewed video evidence in one case and explained what actually happened.

“At 1:59 p.m. video shows the young man carrying an electrical cord walking towards the tree by himself. Between 2:06 p.m. and 2:07 p.m., video captures the actual incident taking place. No one else is seen in the area when this incident occurred.”

Other cases cited by activists were similarly investigated and ruled suicides by medical examiners — including Trey Reed in Mississippi, a 16-year-old Congolese immigrant, and To’Nea Nicole Miller in Florida.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Department found no evidence of foul play in Miller’s case, and her passing was consistent with a suicide.

A few cases remain under investigation, but thousands of Americans across all demographics take their own lives by hanging each year — with white Americans accounting for significantly more such cases than black Americans.

Mental health experts note that suicide by hanging is tragically common across all racial groups, and that outdoor locations, while less frequent than indoor settings, are not unprecedented. The immediate assumption that such deaths must be homicides can actually delay appropriate responses to the mental health crisis affecting communities of all backgrounds.

The pattern recalls the 2014 Ferguson, Missouri case, where initial claims that Michael Brown said “Hands up, don’t shoot” and was shot in the back were widely promoted despite evidence showing he was shot from the front.

The Ferguson case became a defining moment in modern discussions of race and policing, spawning protests nationwide and contributing to the formation of the Black Lives Matter movement. The “Hands up, don’t shoot” slogan was repeated by protesters, athletes, and politicians despite the Justice Department’s conclusion that the phrase was not supported by credible evidence. The GOP faces steep hurdles. History favors the opposition in a midterm, when the president’s party almost always loses ground. With less than 100 days to go, the president’s approval rating remains underwater, the standoff with Iran drags on and voters remain anxious about prices.

One official acknowledged the uphill battle, even admitting it has been a challenge to keep the party on message in recent months. Fundraising poses other issues.

Another GOP operative working on the midterms was candid that while Republicans are well positioned nationally, their candidates are being significantly outraised at the individual level.

President Donald Trump recently made his second trip to Nevada this year to tout his no-tax-on-tips policy. It is a message the official said the party hopes to hammer harder.

Now the GOP is counting on the September midterm convention to serve as a kickoff that finally unifies the messaging.

It starts on the economy.

It’s not good enough to tell voters what the party has done, one official said.

The goal, multiple officials explained, is to assign blame: to remind voters that Democrats are responsible for their current problems, and that Republicans are cleaning up the mess left over the four years Trump was out of office. One official said they’d seen success at the local level pushing the president’s work to lower drug prices and the Trump Rx initiative.

An internal National Republican Senatorial Committee memo, obtained by Daily Caller, details how the committee is advising its candidates on their economic messaging.

According to the memo, an NRSC survey found that highlighting Democrats’ votes to hike taxes outperformed positive tax-cut messaging among low-propensity Trump voters, 2026 general election voters and swing state voters.

Among low-propensity Trump voters, the voting block that helped secure the president the 2024 election, adding an immigration frame further increased message effectiveness, the memo stated. Adding accountability messaging on the economy performed well with general election and swing state voters.

The memo gives several examples of messaging that works for different voting blocks: “Democrats support tax hikes that help fuel taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants.”

Another example reads: “Democrats support bloated government spending and budgets that encourage massive fraud and abuse.”

But officials believe the most effective move goes beyond the socialist and communist labels, and even beyond economic messaging, and leans on messaging they’ve used for years: defining each candidate individually, at the local level.

The officials pointed to El-Sayed as a case where the socialist tag alone isn’t enough. The sharper attacks, they said, center on framing him as a terrorist sympathizer and tying him to left-wing streamer Hasan Piker.

“You use the candidate’s own words. Our opening ad against Abdul Al Sayed has him saying himself, ‘I’m pretty damn dangerous.’ Our 100 days out video had Bernie Sanders saying, ‘Progressives are on the march.’ We had the head of the DSA saying, ‘Communism is our goal.'”

An NRSC official told Daily Caller the strategy centers on using those candid moments from these candidates and reminding voters that even if a specific candidate hasn’t said it, they are going to vote in lockstep with the people who have.

The Ossoff race is where officials say their approach gets its clearest test.

They pointed to Jon Ossoff as the model: rather than leaning on a label, the attack is built on his voting record. He repeatedly voted to shut down the government, including the longest shutdown in history, and voted with Democrats to block the working families’ tax cuts, including no tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security.

The through-line, in the official’s telling, is that whenever Ossoff has a chance to show he’s a moderate or dealmaker, he instead sides with the most extreme part of his party.

The larger argument officials made is that the populist label is packaging, not substance. Most of these Democrats, one official estimated, have over 90 percent voting overlap with people like Bernie Sanders and no amount of packaging changes that.

Through all the conversations with the operatives, there was a common thread: stop leading with what Republicans have delivered and start hammering what Democrats are trying to block, repeal or overturn.

The reasoning, one official explained, is about what actually moves a voter. People like hearing what Republicans have done, but they’re far more motivated when they’re shown what the other side is doing that will hurt them.

Republican candidates, one operative explained, are doing well on the ground by acknowledging that voters are struggling with high prices, pointing to what’s been done and being honest that the job isn’t finished.

And then of course, it’s reminding voters that socialism is actually knocking on their door this time.

One of the officials said it’s less of a prediction now and more of a reality. In 2020, Republicans warned that the socialists were coming. Now it’s actually happening.

“If you look at the DSA website, all we got to do is just repeat what they’ve written down and what they say in their past comments,” the official said, noting it is more effective than just the predictions they were making in 2020.

Gruters was discussing Michigan’s Senate primary, where socialist candidate Abdul El-Sayed is vying for the Democratic nomination. Host Mike Slater asked whether Republicans should worry about El-Sayed winning, given the success of far-left Democrats in states like New York.

“Here’s the deal, even if it’s not El-Sayed, the left is so far to the left, it doesn’t matter what the candidate is anymore.”

Gruters said both Democratic candidates in Michigan would be disasters for President Trump’s agenda.

“El-Sayed has more things that he said in the past, but both candidates are disasters. Both would be terrible for the president and working to push his agenda forward,” Gruters said. “And so, yes, I don’t care who the nominee is.”

Still, the RNC chair believes El-Sayed would be the easier opponent for Republican Mike Rogers to defeat.

Gruters warned that Republicans cannot afford to lose the midterms — the stakes are existential.

“We need Mike Rogers to win. We need to win the midterms. We don’t have an option of not winning. We have to win. We have to send up more MAGA warriors wherever, because seriously, if we don’t pass the Save America Act with the president we have, if we don’t get rid of the filibuster, they’re going to do it when they have control, and game’s over for us,” he said.

Gruters emphasized that Republicans must secure elections now or Democrats will weaponize the filibuster the moment they regain power.

The RNC chair also addressed the tight Georgia Senate race, where Republican Mike Collins faces Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff.

“Ossoff has $80 million. We’re out there raising the money, trying to help Collins be successful, but that’s a very difficult race. Georgia should be a Republican state,” Gruters said.

He explained Georgia’s late primary put Republicans at a disadvantage compared to states like Michigan and New Hampshire, where early endorsements allowed the party to build war chests and obliterate the opposition.

“It’s not a layup. It’s not a free throw. It’s a three-point shot. We’ve got to win,” Gruters said. “We have a great candidate, but we’ve got to come together now.”

The seat is winnable, Gruters concluded, but victory will take massive effort and resources.

The “Big Beautiful Bill” includes benefits for tipped workers, new parents, car buyers, manufacturers, and seniors — but many Americans don’t know they qualify.

If you bought an American-made car between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, you can write off up to $10,000 a year in auto loan interest — assuming you make under $150,000 individually or $250,000 filing jointly.

New parents get even more. Any child born or adopted between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, qualifies for a $1,000 seed investment from the federal government.

Cordt Holub, a fourth-generation Iowa farmer, told The Daily Wire his 10-month-old daughter qualifies.

“It’s truly a unique opportunity not only for myself and my daughter but for kids all over the country,” Holub said. “Every kid born during that time will have the same opportunity to start investing at an early age and see the impact of compound investing.”

Holub plans to match the investment for his 3-year-old son, who was born outside the eligibility window.

The bill also protects family farms through higher estate tax exemptions — what Holub calls ending the “death tax” on generational land.

“In the last five to ten years, inflation has caused land prices to skyrocket and the average age of a farmer is over 60 years old now. We are going to hit a turning point in the next couple years of massive amounts of land changing hands. Lowering the death tax keeps that land in the hands of families rather than outside corporations and investors.”

The higher federal estate tax exemption applies nationwide, making it easier for families to pass assets to the next generation without corporate buyouts.
