Fox News Digital captured Mynett on camera walking a yellow Labrador on a leash before entering the residence that HSI agents had searched early Monday morning.

His appearance came the same day U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced her office is investigating Omar’s financial disclosures about the couple’s reported wealth.

Two sources close to the investigation say the raid was part of a criminal fraud investigation into the Somali-born congresswoman’s immigration paperwork, which was filled out by her late father when she was a child.

The charges remain allegations. The case has not been proven in court.

Mynett, a political consultant, sits at the center of one of Omar’s most prominent financial controversies. Omar’s financial disclosure filings decreased significantly in reported worth within the span of one filing period — raising questions that Pirro’s office is now investigating.

The controversy began when a 2024 financial report estimated that Omar and Mynett possessed between $6 million and $30 million in assets — a massive sum that drew scrutiny as a major fraud scandal within Minnesota’s Somali community was coming to light.

The largest change in the documents came from Mynett’s assets. His reported ownership interests in both his winery and venture capital advisory firm — previously valued in the millions of dollars — are now listed with no value.

In Omar’s 2024 financial disclosure records, Mynett’s share in his winery was valued between $1 million and $5 million, and his share at the venture capital advisory firm was valued between $5 million and $25 million. Now, his equity interests are both listed at $0.

Omar’s office previously told Fox News Digital that Mynett has partners in both businesses and said the earlier disclosure mistakenly reflected the businesses’ total equity rather than his ownership interest. The office also said the original filing listed assets without accounting for liabilities.

Mynett was a partner of a firm that worked on Omar’s 2020 re-election campaign. The two announced their marriage in March 2020.

This is Omar’s third marriage — but not her most controversial. The Squad Democrat has also come under fire for her first marriage to a man many alleged to be her brother. Critics and skeptics claim the two married as part of an immigration scheme.

When White House border czar Tom Homan first announced a criminal investigation into Omar, many speculated it would be related to the allegations that she married her brother to evade United States immigration laws. But a former federal prosecutor recently confirmed to Fox News Digital that the statute of limitations would make opening an investigation into the matter difficult.

A Department of Justice spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the judicially authorized search warrant for Monday’s raid was obtained by the DOJ as part of an ongoing federal investigation.

Pirro’s announcement Tuesday opens a new chapter of investigations into the Minnesota Democrat after the Office of Congressional Conduct dropped its misconduct investigation into Omar in September.

Homeland Security Investigations agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation, an agency spokesperson confirmed.

Multiple outlets report the search centered on alleged criminal fraud in Omar’s immigration paperwork.

The probe is focusing, in part, on whether Omar’s late father, Nur Omar Mohamed, lied or omitted information when he sought citizenship in the United States. If federal authorities determine Mohamed falsified his citizenship application, they could pursue criminal or denaturalization charges against Omar — because she, in turn, received citizenship from a father who was ineligible for naturalization.

Omar accused the Trump administration of weaponizing federal law enforcement to target political enemies.

Jacklyn Rogers, Omar’s communications director, said in a statement: “This raid by Trump’s DHS is an outrageous abuse of power and an unprecedented escalation in the weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies.”

“For a decade, Donald Trump has relentlessly targeted congresswoman Ilhan Omar with inflammatory rhetoric, repeatedly putting a target on her back,” Rogers continued. “Now, those attacks have escalated to a pointless federal raid. The congresswoman has done nothing wrong. No president should be able to use the power of the federal government to intimidate his political enemies.”

The Trump administration has specifically prioritized investigating the Somali community. Last year, Director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Joseph Edlow told Just the News his agency found “mass patterns” of marriage and other immigration fraud in Minneapolis, home to the state’s large Somali community.

Operation Twin Shield — conducted by USCIS in coordination with the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the Twin Cities area — flagged over 1,000 cases suspected of involving fraud or ineligibility indicators, the agency shared in an after-action announcement.

Omar, who represents Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, has faced longstanding allegations that she married a relative — in this case, her brother — to help him remain in the country. That allegation first surfaced during her 2016 election campaign for a seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives. At the same time, allegations emerged that when she married her second husband she was still married to her first.

It is possible those allegations are also under federal investigation. Just the News filed a Freedom of Information Act request in January seeking records pertaining to any investigations conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement into such allegations. ICE refused to turn over the records, citing a legal exemption for ongoing investigations.

At the time the allegations were first reported, Omar’s campaign vehemently denied them.

“Allegations that she married her brother and is legally married to two people are categorically ridiculous and false,” said then-campaign spokesman Ben Goldfarb.

No court records, DNA evidence, or other documentary proof has ever substantiated that Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, Omar’s legal husband from 2009–2017, was her biological brother.

The timeline of Omar’s relationships, however, is not in dispute. The 44-year-old was born in Somalia and lived in a refugee camp in Kenya before coming to the United States in 1995.

In 2002, Omar applied for a marriage license to marry Ahmed Hirsi, but did not marry him civilly, only in a Muslim ceremony. In 2008, she separated from Hirsi, and a year later married Elmi.

In 2011, Omar and Elmi separated with a Muslim divorce, and a year later she began another relationship with Hirsi. After her election to the Minnesota house, she filed for a formal divorce from Elmi in 2017. She married Hirsi in 2018.

The confusion around the timeline and allegations that Elmi is a direct relative have sparked political responses from Trump.

He has repeatedly invoked the claim that Omar “married her brother” in order to get him into the country, accusing her of committing immigration fraud.

Trump administration border czar Tom Homan first said in December of last year that the Department of Homeland Security was investigating whether Omar committed immigration fraud.

Earlier this year, Vice President JD Vance also confirmed that the Justice Department was reviewing allegations.

“I don’t want to prejudge an investigation,” Vance said. “It certainly seems like something fishy is there. If we think that there’s a crime, we’re going to prosecute that crime, and that’s something the Department of Justice is looking at right now.”

The case remains allegations. The charges have not been proven in court.

That shocking finding comes from Middle East studies professors surveyed by the New York Post ahead of the 25th anniversary of the attacks that murdered nearly three thousand people on American soil.

The reason? A generation of woke school curricula has replaced factual teaching about the al Qaeda terrorist attacks with blame-the-victim propaganda.

Instead of naming the Islamist terrorists who hijacked planes and flew them into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a Pennsylvania field, students are being taught that the attacks were a “response” to U.S. support for Israel, the Persian Gulf War, and American military presence in the Middle East.

A New Jersey curriculum produced with CAIR-NJ and “Teaching While Muslim” has told students exactly that — reframing a terrorist massacre as a policy disagreement.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar reduced the attacks to “some people did something.”

Hasan Piker, who campaigned with Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, said in 2019 that “America deserved 9/11.”

According to the Post, the lack of mandatory teaching standards about the terrorist attack has allowed woke ideology blaming the attacks on U.S. policy or “Islamophobia” to be taught instead. Some of these lesson plans have been funded by far-left billionaire George Soros.

This is not teaching history. It is a radical woke attempt to rewrite history and explain away murder.

The al Qaeda terrorists did not hijack those planes because of political differences with the U.S. They did it because they despised the civilization those towers represented: democracy, mixed societies, individual liberty, women in public life, Jews and Christians, and secular people living without clerical veto.

Al Qaeda’s leaders said so. Their documents said so. Their sermons said so.

The Texas Board of Education recently sparked controversy when it approved changes to the state’s high school social studies curriculum that say radical Islam motivated the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

That should not be controversial. It is historical fact.

The same instinct — to explain away Islamist violence as a response to policy differences rather than an expression of extremist ideology — shows up every time such terrorist attacks occur.

London in 2005. Madrid in 2004. Paris in 2015. Brussels in 2016. Bali in 2002 and 2005. Mumbai in 2006 and 2008. The 2017 siege of Marawi in the Philippines.

These attacks can’t be linked to differences with the U.S. or the American military presence in the Middle East. They were assaults on democracy, freedom, and modern society.

The October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre against Israel also belongs on that list. Hamas murdered about 1,200 people — including babies, children, and the elderly — burned homes, took hostages, and filmed their murderous work.

Hamas did not raid Israeli communities over a zoning dispute. It attacked because its ideology cannot tolerate a free, neighboring society that it cannot defeat except by terror.

Some details differ from 9/11. The civilizational contempt does not.

The morning of September 11, 2001, belongs first to the victims and family members of this massacre. It belongs to the heroic firefighters and police officers who ran toward the fire and climbed stairs while others fled.

It belongs to the brave passengers on Flight 93 who understood they were already dead and chose to fight anyway. It belongs to office workers who carried strangers down darkened stairwells.

These were acts of duty and patriotism under conditions designed to produce panic. Their sacrifice deserves a sober memory, not an effort to minimize this atrocity.

The killers were Muslim fanatics who rejected the modern world. That is not an indictment of every Muslim. The vast majority reject that fanaticism and have often been its victims.

We are seeing a version of this Islamist fanaticism now in Iran, where the IRGC and the ruling mullahs are executing protesters and people who talk to the Western media.

A regime that hangs its own people for demanding a normal life is not resisting some vague threat from the U.S. or Israel. It is at war with modernity itself.

Good deeds are not enough. Name who did this. State why. And say, without embarrassment: never again.

The incident marks the latest controversy to touch the Omar family, who have been subject to intense scrutiny since the Minnesota congresswoman first took office in 2019. Omar, a member of the progressive “Squad” and one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, has long been a lightning rod for conservative criticism over her foreign policy positions and outspoken progressive advocacy.

Hirsi himself has not been implicated in any wrongdoing. Neither has the congresswoman.

But the optics alone were enough to set conservative social media ablaze.

A search warrant was executed Tuesday at the apartment Abdi shares with Hirsi. Police confiscated firearms and ammunition, and Abdi was arrested earlier the same day, the report said. The swift release of Abdi — within roughly 36 hours of his arrest — suggests that charges may not be imminent, though investigators could still be building a case. The nature and scope of what authorities were investigating remains unknown, as does whether Hirsi had any knowledge of the items seized from the shared residence.

The Minneapolis Police Department declined to comment when reached for details.

That silence has done little to quiet speculation online, where the story quickly gained traction among right-leaning accounts eager to tie the incident to Omar herself, despite no evidence linking her to any potential criminal activity.

Right-wing critics jumped on the story fast. Steve Ferguson, a small business owner with nearly 300,000 followers on X, posted, “Nothing to see here. Move along.”

Online influencer “Spitfire” wrote, “This Omar investigation is getting more interesting by the day.”

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter wrote, “Anyone shocked that a horrible person would be a horrible mother? What do you expect from someone who marries their brother?” — referencing an unproven online conspiracy theory that Omar previously married her brother, which she has denied.

Commentator Gunther Eagleman called to “deport Ilhan Omar and her family.”

Former Trump advisors Corey Lewandowski and Sean Spicer both shared the Alpha News report without comment.

The irony wasn’t lost on conservatives: Omar is a staunch advocate for gun control. Fox News Digital reached out to her office for comment on the incident but did not receive a response.

Omar has consistently supported universal background checks, assault weapons bans, and red flag laws throughout her tenure in Congress. She has repeatedly called gun violence a public health crisis and advocated for stricter federal regulations on firearms sales and ownership. That legislative record has now become ammunition itself for critics seeking to highlight what they view as hypocrisy, even though the weapons were not found in Omar’s possession and her son has not been accused of any crime.

The disconnect between a parent’s political positions and the actions of adult children or their associates is not uncommon in American politics, though it rarely dampens political attacks. Adult children of lawmakers live independent lives, make their own choices, and select their own roommates — factors that complicate efforts to draw direct lines of accountability to their elected parents.

No charges against Hirsi have been announced. The nature of the investigation involving his roommate remains unclear.

Hong’s Democratic Socialists of America membership puts her alongside radicals calling for the abolition of the Senate, Presidency, and Supreme Court. Her campaign platform advocates government-run grocery stores, abolishing ICE and police departments, and what she calls freeing Palestine.

The DSA platform includes defunding the Pentagon — the nation’s primary defense apparatus — along with mass amnesty for illegal immigrants and emptying prisons of convicted criminals.

Hong’s parents immigrated from South Korea in the 1980s, three decades after American soldiers fought to keep the Korean peninsula from falling entirely to Soviet-backed communist forces. Over 1.78 million Americans served in that war.

“Let the streets soak in their f*cking red capitalist blood.”

That quote comes from Hasan Piker, a prominent DSA-aligned figure Hong now shares political space with. The organization she joined has defended terrorist attacks and calls for the destruction of America’s constitutional government.

One Korean War veteran who served in those dangerous missions was Douglas Gallatin, a Wisconsin native who executed reconnaissance operations behind enemy lines. He rarely spoke about what he witnessed — fellow soldiers shot or crushed by enemy tanks while he remained hidden and silent.

Gallatin returned home and ran a machine shop in Milwaukee with his brother. His army rucksack and two American flags hung over his garage door until Alzheimer’s and PTSD took him in 2012.

Before he passed, the trauma surfaced. He recounted hearing his fellow soldiers die while he couldn’t move or make a sound for fear of discovery.

Hong grew up in Madison and opened a small business as a chef before winning a State Assembly seat in 2020. She has publicly struggled with having a half-white, half-Korean son because of what she called “proximity to whiteness.”

She helped organize aggressive protests against law enforcement even after a knife-wielding man injured a cop in Madison. Her policy page calls the service industry a racist institution founded on white supremacy.

The full DSA agenda Hong signed onto: universal childcare, a Worker’s Bill of Rights that targets businesses, breaking up agricultural companies, overturning Wisconsin’s Act 10 union reforms, and transgender policy mandates.

DSA leaders continue pushing for open borders, wealth confiscation from top earners, and Medicare for all. Hong joined an organization that includes figures like Ilhan Omar and Omar Fateh.

Hong advocates to dismantle the constitutional framework that allowed her family to build a life in Wisconsin — the same framework American veterans like Gallatin fought to protect from communist expansion in Korea.

Wisconsin voters will decide in the gubernatorial primary whether Hong’s vision for abolishing core American institutions aligns with what the state’s Korean War veterans sacrificed to defend.

From destroying the Electoral College to weaponizing the FBI, from abolishing the SAT to erasing the border — the pattern is unmistakable. If the system won’t give them power, they’ll dismantle the system.

What unites today’s Democrats and Democratic Socialists isn’t just policy — it’s a shared belief that America’s institutions are obstacles to be destroyed. The Mar-a-Lago raid, lawfare against Trump, calls to pack the Supreme Court, end the filibuster, add two blue states — all stem from the same impulse.

When they lost the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court, the Left didn’t ask why voters rejected them. Instead, they doubled down: weaponize federal agencies, censor social media, spy on Congress, flood the country with illegal immigrants.

By 2021, the southern border was effectively erased — 10 million illegal immigrants entered without health checks, English proficiency, or means of self-support.

Had Kamala Harris won in 2024, another four years would have brought another five million. America’s foreign-born population would have surged from 50 million to 60 million — roughly 18 percent of the country.

California is the blueprint. Today, 28 percent of California’s population is foreign-born. When second-generation immigrants are included, the two groups together make up roughly 45 percent of the state’s residents. Half of all births in California are now paid for by Medi-Cal, serving 40 percent of the population.

This demographic transformation — one of the most profound in American history — happened as traditional civic education stressing assimilation, integration, and knowledge of American history vanished from public schools.

The goal? Import a new voter base. Representatives like Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed represent a new kind of immigrant politician: arrivals or children of arrivals who see only America’s sins, never the catastrophes of their homelands that drove them here.

They arrived uninvited — then immediately demanded their host change to suit them.

It’s the same story across every institution the Left touches.

The SAT? When minorities statistically underperformed, the Left didn’t push for better K-12 education, tougher math and reading standards, or SAT prep in the inner city. They abolished the test entirely — erasing a merit-based system designed in the 1920s to overcome old-boy networks and regional prejudice.

Without the SAT, admissions officers lost the ability to predict whether students could handle college coursework. Professors soon noticed: many newly admitted students lacked basic skills. But maintaining standards risked being called racist.

The solution? Grade inflation, remedial courses, reduced requirements — and a new rule that plagiarism isn’t actionable if the culprit claims victim status.

Employers noticed graduates from prestigious schools now lacked reading, writing, and analytical skills. Alumni complained their degrees were losing value. Parents watched their own qualified children get rejected solely on the basis of race.

The military? The Left pushed to lower physical standards for ground-combat units so women could join elite brigades — ignoring a century of combat experience proving that unit morale, discipline, and success rest on every soldier meeting a common threshold of strength and endurance.

Defunding the police. Open borders. Mass amnesties. Subsidizing unreliable energy while killing fossil fuels. Racial quotas in hiring and admissions. None of these policies have ever won majority support — polling consistently shows 30 to 40 percent backing at best.

The Left’s response? Don’t ask why voters reject the agenda. Change the system that denied them power.

When equality of opportunity was largely achieved, they demanded equality of outcome. When class warfare lost appeal, they pivoted to racial grievance. When victimized minorities weren’t numerous enough to form a majority, they redefined “victim” to include anyone who wasn’t a white heterosexual male — regardless of income or privilege.

And when Americans finally tired of totalitarian social engineering, the Left moved to change how Americans vote, how government functions, and the very demography of the nation.

The common thread? Human nature rejects forced statism, coerced redistribution, and government-mandated equality of results. People yearn for liberty and freedom.

Throughout history, the Left has followed the same pattern: change the rules, alter the demographics — through election manipulation, bureaucratic fiat, court orders. And when those fail, through violence.

Because statism, socialism, and communism can never sustain public support — no matter how much deception, propaganda, or brainwashing is employed.

AOC made the stunning endorsement at a Detroit rally for Abdul El-Sayed, an Egyptian-American Democrat challenging for Michigan’s Senate seat.

“If we want a different politics, we have got to elect different politicians. And I came here to deliver one simple message: that Abdul El-Sayed represents the politics of the future,” she stated.

“Abdul El-Sayed represents the politics of the future.”

“And if we want to not only win a Senate majority, but win a Senate majority that means something new for us, that does something new for us, if we want to pass the legislation that we need, and if we want to build a coalition big enough to actually change this country, then we have got to elect Dr. Abdul El-Sayed to the Unites States Senate,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.

El-Sayed’s record raises serious questions. Reports revealed he lacks a medical license in Michigan and New York despite claiming to be a physician.

His campaign website admits he “wasn’t supposed to be a politician” and “studied to be a doctor” but realized “it was our broken politics that was making people sick.”

The site attacks President Trump directly: “Abdul has dedicated his career to building government agencies that actually work for Michiganders. He is running for the U.S. Senate because he believes life in America shouldn’t be this hard, and as your Senator, Abdul will fight to build a government that works for you, not Elon Musk, Donald Trump, or their billionaire friends.”

El-Sayed has drawn fire for supporting efforts to defund police, claiming Medicare for all would end white privilege in the healthcare system, and saying ICE is being used to “terrorize people on our streets.”

The Squad backs him. El-Sayed has been endorsed by AOC, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters warned the stakes couldn’t be higher.

“The left is so far to the left it doesn’t matter who the candidate is anymore in some of these races.”

“We need Mike Rogers to win. We needed to win the midterms… We don’t have an option of not winning. We have to win. We have to send up more MAGA warriors wherever, because seriously, if we don’t pass the SAVE America Act with the president we have, if we don’t get rid of the filibuster, they’re going to do it when they have control, and game’s over for us,” Gruters said on Breitbart News Daily.

They had no good answers.

“I don’t support that,” Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., told Fox News Digital when asked about the new DSA platform. “I haven’t read the proposal.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., one of the most progressive Democrats in Congress, dodged questions on the socialist agenda entirely.

“I’m not a member of the DSA, so I can’t comment on any documents that they put out,” Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., said.

“I’m not a member of the DSA, so I can’t comment on any documents that they put out.”

The revised DSA platform, titled “Workers Deserve More,” calls for a unicameral legislature — abolishing the Senate entirely — and a parliamentary system that would eliminate the presidency. The Supreme Court would be replaced by a judiciary elected by and subordinate to Congress.

The platform also demands the complete abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), pardons for all immigrants including convicted criminals, and defunding what the DSA calls the “Department of War.”

The organization has publicly advocated for ICE’s abolishment since 2018. The current platform calls for “an immediate end to all deportations,” “extending full voting rights to people with criminal convictions and noncitizens,” and easing restrictions on migration between countries.

The socialist agenda is no longer fringe. DSA members and self-proclaimed socialists have been beating out moderate Democrats in primary elections across the country this year, signaling the far-left platform is gaining traction within the Democratic party.

Aguilar told Fox News Digital he was “not at all” worried about the wave of far-left socialist candidates complicating the Democratic party’s agenda.

“I look forward to working with all our colleagues who run as Democrats,” Aguilar said.

But the DSA platform is more than a policy wish list. In a statement published Friday in Democratic Left, the DSA’s official magazine, the organization laid out formal requirements for socialist candidates seeking endorsement.

Candidates “will be expected to accept and promote DSA’s program, and align their own campaign platforms with its contents to the best of their ability,” according to the resolution.

That means any Democrat seeking DSA backing must campaign in line with the agenda to abolish the Senate and presidency — even as sitting House Democrats like Omar, Khanna, and Aguilar claim they haven’t read it or won’t comment on it.

The endorsement requirement raises a question patriots are already asking: How many Democrats are running on an agenda to dismantle America’s constitutional system — and refusing to admit it?
