Liz Cheney is a previous Member of Congress for a factor.
Cheney goes out of her way to advise Republican politicians why they provided her the boot last year.
And Liz Cheney went off the deep end with this insane attack on Mike Johnson.
Liz Cheney is a Democrat in every way other than party registration.
After signing up with the January 6 committee at Nancy Pelosi’s individual invite, Cheney utilized that platform to attack Donald Trump and the entire Republican Party in the run-up to the 2022 Midterm Election.
Republicans booted Cheney from her position as GOP Conference Chair– the number 3 ranking Republican in your home– after Cheney’s repeated attacks on not just Donald Trump, but Republican leadership for not disavowing Trump.
Along the method, Cheney– who declared to be the keeper of the conservative flame– showed her real colors by voting for Joe Biden’s gun grab.
Cheney lost her main to a Trump-endorsed opposition by 37 points so Cheney did what all good liberals do for their next task and signed up with academic community becoming a member of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics.
The former Congresswoman appeared on the center’s podcast and assaulted the new Speaker of the House Mike Johnson because Johnson supported a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas arguing states such as Pennsylvania unlawfully altered their voting laws to all for floods of mail-in-ballots.
“Mike is someone that I knew well. We were chosen together. Our workplaces were beside each other. Mike is someone who states that he’s committed to defending the Constitution. But that’s not what he did when we were all tested in the aftermath of the 2020 election,” Cheney ranted.
Cheney then attacked Johnson personally smearing him as sly since he convinced other Members of Congress to sign on to an amicus brief supporting the Texas claim.
“Mike in my experience, I was really, deeply involved and engaged as the conference chair when Mike was doing things like persuading members of the conference to sign on to the amicus brief. He was acting in ways that he knew to be wrong. And, I believe that the country unfortunately will come to see the procedure of his character,” Cheney added.
“In my view, he was willing to set aside what he understood to be the rulings of the courts, the requirements of the Constitution, in order to pacify Donald Trump, in order to gain appreciation from Donald Trump, for political expedience. So it’s a concerning moment to have him be elected speaker of your home,” Cheney continued.
Cheney concluded by sticking to the Democrat Celebration script that it’s supposedly “harmful” for Donald Trump and the Republican Celebration to hold power because they objected to the 2020 election.
“One of the reasons somebody like Mike Johnson threatens is because when you have elected Republicans who know much better, elected Republicans who know the fact however yet will support the efforts to undermine our republic, the efforts, frankly, that Donald Trump undertook to reverse the election,” Cheney concluded.
Nobody in the GOP takes Cheney seriously due to the fact that she never ever once called out Democrats for objecting to the outcomes of the 2000, 2004, or 2016 elections based on unwarranted conspiracy theories.
