And now Donald Trump stunned Sean Hannity with his response to Joe Biden jailing him.
Donald Trump broke the news that Democrat prosecutor Jack Smith sent him a target letter over the weekend suggesting that Smith prepares to arraign and arrest him for what occurred on January 6.
“Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden’s DOJ, sent out a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) specifying that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury examination, and giving me a very brief 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which generally means an Arrest and Indictment,” Trump posted.
Trump provided his first public talk about Smith apprehending him on behalf of Joe Biden’s re-election project in a city center event in Iowa hosted by Sean Hannity.
“It troubles me for everybody in this amazing, sold-out audience. It bothers you– I got the letter on Sunday night. Think of it. I do not think they have actually ever sent a letter on Sunday night. And they’re in a rush because they want to interfere, disturbance with the election. It’s election interference. Never ever been done like this in the history of our nation and it’s a disgrace,” Trump declared.
ABC News reported on the charges Smith means to indict Trump on.
“The target letter points out three federal statutes: conspiracy to dedicate offense or to defraud the United States, deprivation of rights under color of law, and tampering with a witness, victim or an informant, sources familiar with the matter informed ABC News,” ABC reported.
Even Florida Guv Ron DeSantis– who is battling to reverse his project and surpass Trump in the surveys– informed CNN’s Jake Tapper that this indictment by Smith is criminalizing political distinctions and sending out America down a scary road where Presidents will not just apprehend challengers instead of attempting to beat them at the tally box.
“So here’s the problem: this nation is decreasing the road of criminalizing political distinctions. I believe that’s incorrect. Alvin Bragg extended the statute in Manhattan to be able to try to target Donald Trump. Many people, even people on the left, acknowledge if that wasn’t Trump, that case would not have actually likely been brought against the regular civilian,” DeSantis mentioned.
