Mark Epstein — the brother of notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein — is accusing federal investigators of covering up video evidence which, he claims, will prove that his politically connected brother was killed and did not take his own life.

On the five-year anniversary of his brother’s mysterious suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, Mark Epstein is accusing law enforcement officials of quickly removing his brother’s body from the facility in order to cover up evidence of assassination.

Jeffrey, who was 66 at the time of his death, was being held in the New York facility while awaiting charges for sex trafficking minors. Before he could be tried, the politically connected financier hanged himself with a bedsheet in his jail cell.

According to Mark Epstein, officials he has spoken with have not been forthcoming about information as to whether or not a thorough investigation followed his brother’s death. “I only want to look at facts, but when we consider the facts available, we get more questions,” he told the New York Post earlier this year. “There appears to have been no investigation once it was ruled a suicide, they saw no reason to dig deeper.”

“It seems like a cover-up. Why can’t I find his pre-hospital care report and why can’t I get the 911 call?”

Mark Epstein, who currently works as a New York real estate developer, is now claiming that he spoke with a videographer who captured footage of his brother’s body as it was taken from his cell to nearby Beekman Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Epstein is claiming that the Bureau of Prisons has refused to hand over the footage despite numerous requests.

“When the EMTs got to the prison, [jail officials] had moved Jeff from his cell to the infirmary. Why did they move him if he was already dead? And the same video camera also filmed him in the hospital. Where is the tape for that?” Epstein said in a recent interview.

Mark has alleged that Epstein was killed due to damaging information he possessed on political and business leaders across the world. He has accused then-Attorney General Bill Barr of ruling Epstein’s death as a suicide in order to protect these “VIPs.”

NYC’s Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson has also ruled that Jeffrey took his own life.

Mark has disputed the ruling, however, citing findings from forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, who was hired by Mark Epstein to investigate his brother’s death. Bowden has stated that the wounds on Jeffrey Epstein’s neck were consistent with homicidal strangulation.
