“This all kind of just came out. I’ve been doing legislative business on the floor, so I need to dig into everything further before commenting on it,” Ocasio-Cortez told reporters.

“I don’t want to speak before I’ve dug into a lot of, you know, to before I’ve dug into what’s out there. So, I just want to be respectful of that man.”

The New York Democrat’s caution comes after The New York Times released a damning report Thursday detailing allegations from multiple women who were romantically involved with Platner. The women recounted allegations of rape fantasies, heavy drinking, and violent episodes.

Lyndsey Fifield, an ex-girlfriend, described an incident where Platner allegedly pushed her into a bedroom, twisted her arm behind her back, and locked her inside. She escaped only after falling asleep and waking hours later.

Fifield also told the Times that Platner would “fantasize about killing people he deemed a threat.”

In another bombshell claim, Fifield recounted how Platner would joke about his chest tattoo of a Totenkopf — the skull emblem used by Nazi death camp guards. According to Fifield, Platner said he and members of his military unit chose the symbol because of parallels between them and the Schutzstaffel, explaining “they were a death unit… killers.”

That account contradicts Platner’s public narrative that he didn’t know the tattoo was associated with Nazi imagery.

Platner, who has acknowledged struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder from his military service, released a statement saying he has “been open about what was a very dark period of my life where I struggled with undiagnosed PTSD.”

“Throughout this campaign, I’ve been open about what was a very dark period of my life where I struggled with undiagnosed PTSD, too often self-medicated with alcohol and was far from a perfect boyfriend.”

The Thursday report adds to a mounting pile of controversies threatening Platner’s campaign to unseat Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine. Platner has faced criticism for making off-color remarks on sexual abuse, race, and terror, as well as for allegedly messaging several women outside his marriage in inappropriate ways.

In one resurfaced 2013 Reddit post, Platner blamed rape victims for failing to protect themselves, writing: “How about people just take some responsibility for themselves and not so f—ed up when they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to?”

Notably, Ocasio-Cortez has not endorsed Platner, a fellow progressive, despite his efforts to unseat Collins.

Platner met with Democratic senators earlier this week to reassure them about his candidacy. Maine will hold its Senate primaries next Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump was asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy about the younger Biden running for president in 2028. The question came after Hunter Biden reacted to a parody account on X touting him as the 2028 Democratic presidential nominee.

“You would think that the past has something to do with winning an election. And I would say his past is not the greatest.”

Trump quickly pivoted to controversial Democratic Senate candidates as his measuring stick.

“Hey, if the guy from Maine can do well, I guess Hunter could do well, too, because the guy from Maine is a basket case,” Trump said, referring to Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner. “And I would say worse than him is the one from Texas that looks like Alfred E. Neuman,” he added, referencing Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico.

Platner, a Marine veteran who has emerged as one of the party’s fastest-rising political figures, has come under fire for controversies ranging from sexually explicit messages and offensive social media posts to a Nazi-linked tattoo and campaign staff upheaval.

Despite the baggage, Platner has retained the support of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

In Texas, Talarico has drawn pushback from conservative opponents over his religious claims. He said “God is nonbinary” during a 2021 debate in the Texas legislature. He has also claimed there are six biological sexes and posted about the radicalization of white men on social media.

Hunter Biden’s controversies include his foreign business dealings, convictions for tax evasion and illegal possession of a weapon, and drug addiction. His father, former President Joe Biden, pardoned him in December after repeatedly promising not to.

Trump’s remarks suggest he views the Democratic Party’s candidate-quality problem as so severe that even a convicted felon with Hunter Biden’s baggage could be competitive in a primary.

Rebecca Bennett, the Democratic nominee for New Jersey’s Seventh Congressional District, made the stunning admission at a February campaign event. Audio obtained by The Washington Free Beacon caught the former Navy pilot explaining her decision to leave her Presbyterian church.

“I cannot sit in this church full of people who voted for Trump.”

The confession came during a Q&A session with supporters. A woman who identified herself as “a former progressive Dem, now a moderate” asked Bennett about using the word “patriot” in her campaign messaging — worried others might hear it as “right-coded.”

Bennett doubled down on the term, then launched into her church story.

“I grew up in the Presbyterian Church, and after Trump got elected, I stopped going to church for the first time in my life,” Bennett said. “At the time, I was stationed somewhere that was pretty conservative. I was still in the military at the time. I was like, ‘I cannot sit in this church full of people who voted for Trump.'”

She eventually returned to church — but only after deciding Trump voters don’t get to “decide what Christianity looks like.”

Bennett then escalated her rhetoric dramatically, claiming Trump supporters are “literally murdering Americans in broad daylight.”

“They do not get to decide what patriotism is,” she added. “You do not get to wrap yourself in the flag while you are literally murdering Americans in broad daylight.”

The audio reveals a Democratic candidate who couldn’t share a pew with voters whose political views differed from hers — and now frames those same Americans as murderers.

Bennett is seeking to represent New Jersey’s Seventh Congressional District in the U.S. House.

A new book reveals Jill Biden’s late-night panic following the debate performance that ultimately ended Joe Biden’s 2024 presidential campaign.

According to the account, the First Lady worried for months before the debate that Americans would realize the president’s cognitive decline had become impossible to mask.

“Everyone will see now. They’ll finally realize he’s getting old.”

The June debate became a turning point — Trump dominated while Biden appeared confused, lost his train of thought repeatedly, and delivered rambling answers that alarmed even Democratic allies.

Within weeks of the debate disaster, mounting pressure from Democratic donors and lawmakers forced Biden to withdraw from the race. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, who went on to lose the 2024 election to Trump.

The book depicts Jill Biden as one of the president’s most protective gatekeepers, working behind the scenes to limit his public appearances and control his schedule to minimize exposure of his declining mental acuity.

Critics had long questioned Biden’s fitness for office, pointing to repeated gaffes, confusion during public events, and what they described as a “basement campaign” strategy designed to keep him out of unscripted moments.

The debate performance vindicated those concerns. Post-debate polling showed 72% of voters believed Biden lacked the mental sharpness to serve another term.

The revelation raises new questions about who was truly running the White House during Biden’s term — and whether voters were deliberately misled about the president’s condition throughout the 2024 campaign.

Democratic operative Amber Lee crafted the campaign launch for Dan J. Sullivan, a candidate challenging the incumbent Republican senator whose name is Dan Sullivan. The metadata from the press release shows Lee as the author.

“Democratic strategist Amber Lee authored a press release announcing the candidacy of Dan J. Sullivan, a candidate running against Republican Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan.”

The tactic — running a candidate with an identical or nearly-identical name to an incumbent — has been used in multiple states to siphon votes from legitimate candidates. Critics call it voter confusion by design.

Alaska uses ranked-choice voting, which can amplify the impact of name-similarity tactics. A voter scanning the ballot for “Dan Sullivan” could easily mark the wrong candidate, especially if they don’t notice the middle initial.

Lee’s involvement suggests coordination. Democratic operatives have in the past recruited same-name candidates in Florida, where ghost candidates have been charged with election fraud for running solely to split the vote.

Sen. Sullivan has served Alaska since 2015. He won re-election in 2020 and is not up for re-election until 2026. The timing of Dan J. Sullivan’s candidacy announcement — and the Democratic fingerprints on the press release — has raised alarms among Republican observers.

The Alaska Republican Party has not yet commented publicly on the Dan J. Sullivan candidacy. The state’s ranked-choice voting system, adopted in 2020, has already generated controversy for enabling scenarios where second-place candidates can win.

The charges remain allegations. The case has not been proven in court.

Nate Willems, the Democratic candidate, amplified a post on X (formerly Twitter) that equated left-wing street activists with the soldiers who liberated Nazi-occupied France in 1944.

“The same people who call Antifa ‘terrorists’ celebrate D-Day soldiers who were literally the original Antifa.”

The post appeared to suggest that modern-day Antifa members — often associated with violent protests, vandalism, and clashes with law enforcement — share a moral equivalence with the Greatest Generation.

Willems engaged with the content by liking and resharing it, according to screenshots reviewed by the Daily Caller.

Critics argue the comparison trivializes the sacrifices of World War II veterans who fought an actual fascist regime under Nazi Germany. D-Day troops faced withering machine-gun fire, land mines, and artillery on the beaches of Normandy in June 1944.

Antifa, by contrast, is a decentralized network of activists who have been linked to vandalism, arson, and assaults during protests in cities like Portland, Seattle, and Minneapolis.

The Iowa Attorney General race has drawn national attention as Republicans highlight Willems’ social media activity. The position carries significant authority over criminal prosecutions, civil litigation, and legal opinions that shape state policy.

Willems has not publicly commented on the controversy.

The charges remain allegations. The case has not been proven in court.

Morgan’s comments came as he slammed claims in the former first lady’s new book that she thought Joe Biden might have been suffering a stroke during his disastrous June 2024 debate with President Donald Trump.

Biden dropped out of the race less than four weeks after the debate performance that shocked the nation.

Morgan didn’t buy Jill Biden’s claim that she hadn’t seen Joe act that way before or since the debate.

“Remember the George Clooney event where Barack Obama was holding him by the hand to sit him down?” Morgan said on Finnerty. “Of course she saw it since.”

The longtime Democratic donor said the White House perks — ordering cheeseburgers at 11 p.m., poolside sangrias and margaritas — made leaving difficult for the Bidens.

“I don’t want to leave the Four Seasons either, but at some point in time, you have to put the country first,” Morgan said. “And she didn’t at all. It’s all on her.“

Morgan, who still communicates with members of the Biden family, said he feels bad for the former president.

“I feel bad for Joe Biden because he does not deserve this,” Morgan said. “But this week you see him wandering up to a stage. At a certain point in time, we have to take the keys away.”

Tuberville, who is running for governor of Alabama, cited recent controversies involving Maine senate candidate Graham Platner and New Jersey congressional nominee Adam Hamawy.

Hamawy has come under fire over his past connection to Omar Abdel-Rahman, the blind Egyptian cleric convicted for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

“WHO REPRESENTS THE TRUE DEMOCRATS IN THIS COUNTRY THAT ACTUALLY LOVE THE COUNTRY? THEY HAVE NO REPRESENTATION ANYMORE HERE.”

“They got a Nazi and they got a terrorist in running in New Jersey, and they’ve got an atheist that’s running in in Texas,” Tuberville said on “Carl Higbie: Frontline.”

“The Democrats have gone so far left, nobody in the country recognizes them,” he added.

“Now, they’re trying to take the country over.”

The Alabama senator said he’s working to block that effort.

“We’re going to stand up,” Tuberville said. “Hopefully we can get the Save America Act.”

“SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GET THEIR HEAD OUT OF THE SAND AND DO SOMETHING WHILE WE HAVE CONTROL, BECAUSE IF WE DON’T DO IT NOW, WE’LL NEVER HAVE CONTROL AGAIN.”

Tuberville said resistance within the party is frustrating progress.

“These people are trying to control the country with their one or two votes, because why? They do not respect Donald Trump,” Tuberville said.

“But it’s like pulling teeth up here to get anything done. It’s a crying shame.”

Appearing on “Carl Higbie: FRONTLINE” Wednesday, the Michigan Republican said the state has the highest unemployment rate in the Midwest, soaring energy costs, and an education system ranked 44th in the nation.

“MICHIGAN’S HOUSE IS ON FIRE.”

James ripped Whitmer for signing a Pride Month declaration while ignoring economic relief. “She should have opted in to the federal tax credit that we got passed in President Trump’s working family tax cuts,” he said.

The congressman — now running for governor — accused the Democratic Party of siding with “terrorist sympathizers and a dude with a Nazi tattoo on his chest.”

“This is what the modern Democrat Party has become,” James said.

On manufacturing, James pointed to 250,000 lost jobs since 2000. “Whitmer hasn’t made it any better,” he said, calling for tax and regulatory reform, local control, and lower property taxes to make Michigan competitive again.

He praised President Trump for bringing $17 trillion in investment back to the United States and said Michigan needs “somebody who’s actually created jobs in the real world.”

“REPUBLICANS ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD YEAR THIS YEAR.”

James also attacked left-wing ideology in government. “Communism cannot work,” he declared. “Their Marxist policies are cratering this country.”

“We can dispense with Marxism, we can dispense with the Green New Deal ideology that’s taking us backwards, and we can focus on the prosperity that we are entitled to,” James said.

James is challenging Whitmer in Michigan’s 2026 gubernatorial race.

CNN host Dana Bash pressed Minnesota Governor Tim Walz over verifiable lies he has told regarding his service record in what was the first interview for Vice President Kamala Harris since she became the de-facto Democratic presidential nominee nearly 40 days ago. Bash also pressed Harris over a number of recent flip-flops on border and energy policy.

Governor Walz has been under in recent weeks due to questions surrounding his military service record. Soldiers from his unit with the Minnesota National Guard have questioned the circumstances surrounding his retirement just before a deployment to Iraq, and have noted that he has misrepresented his rank while on the campaign trail.

The Minnesota National Guard later confirmed that Walz has misrepresented his rank.

Walz  has also claimed to have “carried weapons of war,” during a war despite never having deployed to a combat zone.

“You said that you carried weapons in war, but you have never deployed actually in a war zone. A campaign official said that you misspoke. Did you?” Bash asked.

Walz refused to answer the question directly, instead directing the conversation to the topic of mass shootings. “Well, first of all, I’m incredibly proud. I’ve done 24 years of wearing the uniform of this country. Equally proud of my service in a public school classroom, whether it’s Congress or the governor. My record speaks for itself,” the Minnesota governor said.

“But I think people are coming to get to know me. I speak like they do. I speak candidly. I wear my emotions on my sleeves and I speak especially passionately about our children being shot in schools and around guns. So I think people know me. They know who I am. They know where my heart is and again, my record has been out there for over 40 years to speak for itself,” he continued.

Bash followed up by reiterating her question on the “weapons of war” controversy. “Did you misspeak as the campaign has said?” the CNN host asked.  “Yeah, I said we were talking about, in this case, this was after a school shooting, the ideas of carrying these weapons of war,” Walz replied.

Bash also pressed Walz over his past DUI arrest and inconsistencies regarding his use of IVF.

Elsewhere in the interview, Bash asked Vice President Harris about her past statements on energy, which include support for a ban on fracking and support for the Green New Deal.

“Do you still want to ban fracking?” Bash asked.

“No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020. That I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking,” Harris replied.

The CNN host followed up by pointing out that Harris vowed to ban fracking while campaigning for president in 2019. “In 2019, I believe, at a town hall, you said, you were asked, would you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking on your first day in office? And you said,’ there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking. So yes.’ So it changed in that campaign?” Bash asked.

“In 2020, I made very clear where I stand. We are in 2024 and I’ve not changed that In 2020, I made very clear where I stand,” the vice president replied, once again disavowing her previous position.
