Wow, when it comes to dodging questions, no one is better than Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. While being interviewed on CNN (also known as, Clinton News Network) by progressive Anderson Cooper, she was asked the simple question of, “Who is the leader of the Democrat Party?”
You’d think that would be a very simple question with a very simple answer, but Nancy Pelosi acted like someone had just asked her a particularly difficult question about the complex inner-workings of metaphysics. She had to ramble off people like she was trying to decide if they actually fit the bill or not.
“Well, President Obama was the president of the United States until just a matter of weeks ago. I don’t think that he can be dismissed as the leader of the Democratic Party,” Pelosi answered. “Hillary Clinton did not win the election, but a respected leader.”
Hillary Clinton is a respected leader? Where did she lead them? She lost! Not only did she lose, she lost spectacularly!
Pelosi went on to say, “We have leaders for all different aspects of it. The Democratic Party is a congressional party, and we have members in Congress. It is a gubernatorial party.”
Cooper say that she was grasping for straws, pressed her, “But on the state level, it is a party which has suffered tremendous losses in the last couple of years under President Obama.”
Pelosi admitted they had sustained some losses, but that they “had a plan to address that.”
Wow, she can’t ever give a straight answer!
