Kentucky Senator Rand Paul fired back at Arizona Senator John McCain by calling him ‘unhinged’ after McCain made a ridiculous claim that because Rand Paul opposed a treaty that he now worked for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Paul calmly responded to Mccain’s absurd declaration in almost a dismissive manner, saying, “You know, I think he makes a really, really strong case for term limits.”

Wow! He has a point! The establishment has been way too comfortable sitting in their high towers while they make decisions they never have to live with!

But Paul didn’t stop there, he went on to say that McCain may be “past his prime; I think maybe he’s gotten a little bit unhinged.”

He went on to criticize McCain’s big government saying plans by saying:

“We have a $20 trillion debt. And one of my favorite articles of the last couple years is one that talked about the angry McCains, and if they – if we put active troops and got involved in combat where McCain wants us to be, they put a little angry McCain on the globe, on the map. And it’s virtually everywhere. So his foreign policy is something that would greatly endanger the United States.”

Paul went on to explain that the reason he opposed Montenegro joining NATO was because the US Military’s commitments are already stretching us dangerously thin, and we can’t afford to add another country to the 28 other countries that we already defend.

Countries need to start looking to defend themselves, and stop looking for a handout!
